tattoos

i did a quick search and couldn't see if this question has been asked before. i was wondering has anyone else got a tattoo on their stomach, i've been thinking about how much it will stretch and how it will look after having a bub. any thoughts? :think:

I havnt got a tat on my tummy but I know that if I did it would be so distorted and basically ruined because of all the stretch marks I got. Depending on the elasticity you have in your skin your tat may be fine or wrecked. Hope this helps.

PS- I have 1 on my shoulder and 1 on top of my foot - no stretch marks there!

yeh i had a gecko on my right hip/tummy and um lets say it now looks like road kill.

was fine till last 2 weeks then it just went haywire lol

my advice dont do it..if you ahvent already got one.

its not a topic of conversation though with everyone who sees it as his eye looks blown out his hand looks like its been cut off lol

i would be too worried about it stretching/distorting to take the risk!

i do already have one there that's why i was asking. it's not the most intricate tattoo, but if it does end up looking tragic then i was thinking about gettting it removed, although i've heard this is more expensive and more painful!
