throwing up her oral Vaccination

Just before her 6 mths imm . i was in the doctors and DD was screaming , so i put her on the boob , a nurse rushed in a told me to stop feeding her because if she throws up her milk later she will trow up the oral vacc ..

but i kept on feeding her or she would have screamed .. they kept reminding me to make sure dd does not vomit ..

i just kept my trap shut as no matter what i do DD ALWAYS vomits , so i left the part about her reflux out ;)

anyway vaccs all over , i get back to the car take DD out of the ergo , (wich i done up loosely to aviod a vomit ) but she had vomited anyway ... and then again when i got her out of the car and again when we were at home !!

so its pretty clear to me , she did vomit up her oral vacc ..
so what do i do now ?? should i go back and get the "i told you so" lecture or just leave it ??

my head is saying "just leave it , she'll vomit up the next one anyway" , and the other is "what if ??, it will be my fault for not taking her back "

so what happens now ? WWYD ??

You know whats funny about that vac is that it causes vomitting... not that this is any help but its interesting hey. If you do take her back say it must have been the vac making her vomit ;)

ETA: WWID? I'd probably ring up and ask what should be done. Do you think she would have vomitted the whole thing, or was it just a little bit?

err it was definatley the whole thing :lol: .. she doesnt like to hold back when she vomits :lol:

and i didnt know it causes vomiting .. they should have told me .. not blame me because i was feeding her :(

:hug: Yeah my side effect sheet says vomiting, upset stomach and diarrhea. So I would ring and jsut let them know, Jazz spewed her first one up but I didn't think much of it because the sheet said that it was a side effect! Maybe I should have taken more notice.
