Discharge (sorry if tmi)
I have been having a reasonable amount of discharge since about 20wks. I have been wearing panty liners so I dont have to change my undies and pants more than once a day. Since wearing the liners, my skin around my hooha area has dried out and the skin is itchy, splitting and really really sore.
I cant wear no undies to bed coz if I have to get up in the night to the boys, I dont really want to have to search for my undies, and they also come and hop into bed with me in the morning so it would be very weird.
Is there anything else that I can use to catch the discharge thats going to make my skin 'down there' better??

Could you have thrush and thats why its so itchy and sore?
As for using anything else im not sure.....

Can you take along spare knickers in your hand-bag and just get used to changing undies a couple of times a day? And stop using the liners to see if it makes any difference?
Not ideal, but just another glamourous pregnancy thing that no-one ever tells you about!?
Good luck hon, it sounds painful!

there is a cloth pad and menstrual cup thread somewhere.
maybe those ladies could help you out with some advice... maybe like organic cotton liners if there is such a thing...?????
-
Yeah, if it isn't a fungal infection, maybe try some cloth liners.... if they aren't for AF they would just be thrown in the wash like other washing... easy as and could do your "hoo haa" the world of good :)

LilMunchkins- I have had a swab done for thrush, and it came back clear.
Winter- Im finding I have that much discharge that it sometimes goes through to my pants that Im wearing. It was b****y painful last night, but has been heaps better today.
Myson- Thanks for that. I will go and see if I can find it, or see if I can get some in the sukamarket.
Tanya- Hooha is a 'ladies' term for ur nether regions.

hey bridg
sorry you have to deal with that. have you tired putting creams on it? you should try a cream called 'vagisil' it numbs it slighlty and brings the whole area back to the right ph. i use it when i get sore(from my tear).

misskate- I have been putting vaseline on it, but I might try the vagisil. Thanks for that.
