Oh, my sweet little DD story !!! ... PLEASE do read : )

:hello: Hello all,

I just had to share this gorgeous story with you all ;)

My daughter Cendrine (whom turns 3 in May) ... i asked her today in front of her Daddy " What is LOVE ? " ... and she replied " Wuv is Families ... Dwine's families is Mummy and Daddy and Dwine " (Dwine is what she calls herself) :D

Oooooh, DP & my hearts just melted :inlove:

She is our only child (we have been trying for no#2 bub since she was 14mths) ... as i'm getting older (I'm now 43) even though we are not giving up as such i am getting closer to hanging up my ' pregnancy boots ' so to speak and just starting to come to terms she may well be our one & only child ... and that 'IS' okay ;)

I feel lucky enough i was given one miracle at 40 ... how selfish would i be to ask for another miracle. At times i would rather give my 2nd miracle (if there is such a thing) to a woman out there whom is yearning & heart is just bursting for her very own 1st Bubba.

So, today was a milestone as i was so worried (actually my heart was breaking over it) that my daughter wouldn't feel we were entirely a FAMILY because she had NO siblings ... BUT today confirmed to me (& DP) that if she feels Family at the age of nearly 3 is just the 'Three of Us' then she is going to be just SUPER FINE for now & always :dance:

DP & i subtly joke that we will tell her when older if she asks about siblings ... that SHE took her time to arrive and obviously SHE had to wait for the extra special parents to come along ... so by the time SHE DID decided to make her grand entrance into the world that Mummy was running out of a bit of time for another baby to be her sibling ... she will always know WE did try ... and WE tried soooo hard for HER to have a sibling BUT it wasn't meant to be ... SHE was 'OUR' meant to BE ;)

My family was really only my mum and me and that was always fine by me so I'm sure she will be happy with her family regardless of whether she has siblings or not.
