on tuesday i had my hcg levels tested again, (was 14,000 the week before, 1228 the week before that, and 27.2 when i first found out at 4weeks?) and today i found out it went from 14,000 to 39,000
is that a normal jump? :redface:
i tend to stress out alot :wall:
As a general rule, the levels should double every couple of days. A big jump is good!
i was a bit worried that it hadnt doubled enough considering it was 7 days. do you think that thats still alright because it still went up pretty significantly? :pray:

most doctors stop monitoring HCG levels after six weeks as they continue to climb, but not to double. it seems to me to be in the perfect range of numbers for your gestation!:

As you can see, the variations are huge so try your best not to read into your results. If you don't need to be monitored constantly then I would stop getting blood tests if I was you. They'll end up causing you more worry than joy!

oh thanks Taurean! thats a huge help. the second number in every week is insane! this week was the last time hes checking it, so fingers crossed from now on! but youre right, it does cause unneccesary worry haha.
That's ok hon! We completely understand ;) My levels were very low initially and my doctor told me to stop worrying after two blood tests. Best advice he could have given me!
