Yes I think you are supposed to dry them. I think I kind of cheated when I was doing my pre washes. It is not that big a deal they just won't be as absorbent straight away. :)

I think hemp requires 6-8 washes to get full absorbancy.
I didnt know this the first time around and was thus really disappointed in my hemp stuff, but giving them another go this time now that I know the reason why.
Yeah, I did read on the site to pre wash 3 times, but they won't get to their full absorbancy til 10 washes.
