questions re donor embryos

hi everyone,
can anyone give me any info regarding donor embryos in australia?
my dh and i are starting ivf (with icsi) tomorrow (our first cycle) and due to male fertility probs we are using donor sperm. i also have high fsh levels (12) and we wont know until our treatment begins whether my eggs will be viable and how i will respond to the treatment. i have tried asking our clinic what our options will be IF i dont respond to the treatment and not enough eggs are retrieved or fertilised but their response seems to be "lets wait and see".
we are trying very hard to remain positive that all will be ok but im still wondering if anyone has had any experiences like this regarding possible both egg and sperm donors needed and how/if its possible?

Firstly welcome to BB!

There are a few people here that are using or have used donor embryoes, so hopefully they will see this thread and be able to help you out with information.

Also feel free to join the donor general chatter - there are a few of us in there either using donor eggs, sperm or both.

Firstly i sooooooooooo hope it all works out for you with IVF and you don't need to look any further. I have had experience with my own eggs, donor eggs, donor sperm and finally donor embies - if you ever need to chat feel free to PM me - i don't mind what questions you ask - i will TRY to help where ever i can.

I just tried to PM you but you have apparently disabled pm's to go to you - however you can pm me if you wish, just go to the top User Profile then click on send new message - fire away with questions no matter how personal i don't mind - no room for being coy whilst on IVF;)

Thanks Shades for that, there is also minimum time of membership required before PMs become activated.
