When did your baby's eye colour change??

Some books say all babies are born with blue eyes, some books say not...
Was your baby born with blue eyes and if so when did they change colour(if at all)?

DS had dark blue eyes at birth, blue/brown hazel til about 12 motnhs and they were completely brown by 2years old.

The boys all were born with blue eyes and changed to brown before 6 months :)

My sister had bright blue eyes which turned to green when she was 6!

My babies eye colour hasn't changed.

Well DD was born with really dark blue eyes - they are still blue just not as dark now. DS was born with brown eyes and still has brown.

My DS is probably still abit young for his eyes to change....but he didnt have the blue eyes I was expecting. They are more of a dark slate grey.

DS was born with brown eyes too, which have gotten really dark now!

My bubs have all been born with grey/blue eyes. The elder two started changing at 6 months and ended up hazel. DS3's started at about 12mths and they are now a light brown. DD's are changing now at 5mths.

Both my boys were born with beautiful dark chocolate coloured eyes. I'm still waiting for them to change.

all mine are born with big blue eyes...

bith DS and DD1 still have their blue eyes...

but DD2 are starting to go green she is almost 3...

DD was born with the slate grey color but since about 6 months they have slowly been turning brown

Darn! DD's eyes are still blue at 11 weeks, I was hoping they would stay that way if they hadn't changed now, but obviously not!

I've heard your race depends on what colour eyes are. eg if you are aboriginal/african or a darker skinned race babies will usually have brown eyes at birth, but anglo-saxon races usually have blue & they change later.
All mine were dark blue born & changed anywhere between 6 & 12 months.

My daughter was born with blue eyes, and they are still blue at 2 years old.
I was born with blue eyes, and they are still blue. They used to be really dark blue, but now are a lighter blue.

Both DP and I are anglo and DD1 was born with black eyes. They are now chocolate brown. DD2 was born with dark blue eyes. I hope they don't change!
