I have had the Mirena put in a week ago or so, and its brilliant.
2 days of bleeding and cramping like the doc said, and now fantastic.
I know its not for everyone, but i am super glad I got it!
So right now its great might not be forever but at the moment I cant complain!
I love mine too. I should have had it inserted all those years in between DS and DD rather than taking the OCP.:doh: Oh well. It's in now.
Just wondering. Do you get periods with the Mirena?
When i had my Mirena it took a long time to settle then when it had finally settled i didnt get a period. Some people experience spotting etc.

Yep. I've had mine inserted since June 2008 and my periods are really, really light.
I don't need to use a pad or anything just a pantyliner.
Too early for me to tell ya!! i will let you know in a month!
