How to keep amused in final days/weeks
What do/have you done?
I live on a farm... my closest neighbours are 2-3kms away. I have my little 21 month old to look after aswell, and I'm finding it difficult to do anything but think about when my DD is going to arrive.
I can't drive, as I'm too big to fit behind the wheel, and it's far too dangerous considering it's a 200km round trip to town.
SO who has some ideas? I'm not much of a cook... I would prefer to poke my eyes out with chopsticks than bake cakes etc. I'm trying to just relax as much as I can before everything happens... aka dodging as much housework as possible, and other than those things, and playing with DS, I can't think of anything else to do.
Any ideas? I was in town last pregnancy so I just walked around the shops and visited friends all the time.
Put your digital prints into albums!
I'm sure many pregnant woman have said they'll do this and NEVER get around to it but anyway, my plan is to print a heap of our digital photos and actually put them into albums!
We did a huge round-the-world trip (backpacked for a year) and have a couple of thousand photos that are all album-worthy. I also thought I'd print our random good ones from our day to day lives from over the years and pop them into albums too. Very rarely do we sit down and look back at our photos on the computer and with a rug-rat on the way, I thought it would be nice to have lots of pics in albums to show Tarko what life was like for us before we became parents.
