Red hands

The last 2 days DD has been quite irritable - whinging all the time nad not wanting do a lot. Wil start walking then cry after awhile or will fall down softly and whinge.

Anyway last night she woke several times and at one stage when in bed with us was rubbing her hands together crazily. This morning I checked them and they are quite red and calloused on the heel of each hand.

Any ideas? I wondered if it was from falling (she's started walking in last month) or simply dry hands in this weather? I don't know if she is in LOTS of pain cause she can still do things like hold a spoon and feed herself but still seems quite unhappy.

My hands have puffed up like that before. Sounds like it could be an allergic reaction. Take her to the dr.

has she got any other symptoms? flu like??
DS just had hand foot and mouth and was complaining his hands were sore for a couple of days before he got a rash... prob not the same but if she has temp or flu like symptoms it could be?
