bleeding :(
I have been having some very light spotting for a week and ob said that everything was fine. That was Friday.
Today I had really bad cramping i went to the toilet and started some heavier bleeding.
I had a scan and the baby is unharmed but very small I can't believe this my baby is barley hanging on and i feel like im losing it.
Im so worried im going through a miscarrage. My doc wants me to have another u/s to see if the baby is ok. I feel broken and i'm still so so sick.
I have been none stop praying Beau is doing much worse. Hes taken this week off work to look after me (against my wishes) and i feel hopeless as a (soon to be) mother and partner.

awwww its awful isnt it! i bled throughout my 1st trimester but all turned out ok, it was bright red at times too! it doesnt mean all is over and the fact your bub has a heartbeat is a great sign! its soooo stressful and you wont be able to relax BUT remember you have each other and the ladies here to help you through. I wish you all the best and hope your bub holds on.

Lauren,
I have been through a MC for my first preg so I know how scarey this can be! I also bled alot with Bella up untill about 12 weeks and it turned out ok.
If you are comncerned go to your emergency dept at your local hospital - they will do some checks and if they can then they will do an emergency scan- this is what I did whenever I had a bleed.
Go to your emergency dept and they will check you out and give you some peace of mind.
I pray your bub is a sticky one!

Aww hun glad to hear everything appears to be okay so far...
if it helps any, I bled for the first four months of my first pregnancy - two were heavier than a normal period, two were a bit lighter, and every time I just about killed myself worrying that I was losing my much-wanted bub. My stingy doctors wouldn't even refer me for ultrasounds to check if things were okay, just told me that if it wasn't going to stick, it wasn't going to stick, and no amount of checking in on it would change it... so I didn't even have the peace of mind of knowing whether my little one still had a heartbeat or not - I just had to sweat it out and cry myself to sleep every night with panic!
But... my gorgeous DD was born perfectly healthy two days before her due date, and is now a rambunctious 22-month-old... and after speaking to friends about my experience, I've found it seems to be quite common to bleed during your first pregnancy - something to do with your body not quite knowing what's expected of it, and imitating menstruation (sometimes right up until baby is born, happened to a friend of mine with BOTH her kids!) because it's a bit confused, kwim??
So fingers crossed for you sweetie, I hope you're just experiencing the same thing I did - just try and stay positive and tell your body to smarten up lol, sending heaps of sticky vibes your way!! Best of luck!!

Wow - you really do have a fighter! You poor thing having to go through this emotional roller coaster. I wish you and you baby all the luck in the world. You sound like a really strong woman yourself so it sounds like your baby has taken after you already :)
Your a breath of fresh air too being so positive. I wish you all the luck in the world and I will be thinking of you :)

Try to remember that as much as it feels yucky, the continued morning sickness is actually a great sign that things are hanging in there...
