Im Spotting...
I just went to the toilet and when I wiped there was light brown discharge on the paper...
Only a bit - I know it can be ok - I have a daughter to prove it.
I dont want to go through all this again.
I guess ill monitor it and if it get heavier off the the GP or ER....

sending you heaps of hugs sweety and hopefully it's nothing

 Kate, how scary for you. I hope everything is ok. You could always call your GP and get a referral for a scan to check what's going on and if they can see where the bleeding is coming from??
Or just monitor it and it might go away. Could just be left over from implantation or something.
-
Thanks Iona - it hard to not get upset. Im at work to which makes it a bit harder.
xox
-
Thanks Heaven - yeah I have thought about alll of that. Ill monitor it for a while. It was only a little bit.
I just dont want this to happen again.

Brown spotting usually means old blood, so hopefully it's just some blood left over from implantation.

I guess its just a waiting game now.

Thanks for all your kind words ladies. I havnt had much when I have visited the toilet just before - I can find some if I *fish* around for it (sorry TMI) but its still a browny colour and more like creamy CM in texture. No cramps just the same stretchy feelsing I have been having since the start.
Can I just fast fwd a couple of months please??
-
sending lots and lots of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
big hugs  i can understand that you just want to be home right now...but as marlene mentioned it does sound like it could be breakthrough from the implant...

||> *pushes the button for JB* **pushes harder** (darnit, it's not working!)
-
Thanks ladies! I swear I would go insane if I didnt have you guys!!
If the spotting continues, and as im only 5 weeks 5 days, if I was to have an US - it wouldnt show much anyway would it? Weather is was good or bad!?!
I dont really want to have one if its just going to add to my stress!
-
 Hugs hun. I have the same anxieties. I'm not going to be relaxing until I can feel the baby move regularly, definately and strongly! If it's any consolation I have had some spotting this time too, at about 8ish weeks. Somone told me it's likely to just be that you period is due at those times and it's just the hormones in your body trying to do what they're supposed to when your not pg. I know it doesn't help much though.
And if you were to have an u/s now, no you wouldn't see much and you most likely couldn't be told anything conclusive. If you want to know for sure, hcg monitoring would be the way to go this early on. Or, you will need to wait til you about 7ish weeks to be able to see a heart beat.

Crossing everything.

DD is sick and I might need to get her to the GP tomorrow so if I do and im still spotting then Ill ask for a bloodt test. Fingers crossed I will not have to.

Hey JB.
I had the same thing with my DS at about the same time. It can be so stressful.

hugs X a million to you xoxoxoox

How you going tonight babe?
-
hope everything is ok kate. *fingerscrossed* lots of hugs and stickyvibes xox

My gp wouldn't let me have an u/s til she got my BT results back to say I was definetely past 8ish weeks.
She said it wasn't worth the anguish if I was less than 6 weeks & couldn't see anything.
I would be asking for the BT
 Goodluck xx

Thanks Ladies,
Not doing to bad now - still a bit of dark brown stringy spotting (sorry TMI) but not as much as before. No cramping now - just the same old stretching feelings that I have been getting since the start. I guess I just have to wait and see what happens in the next few hrs / over night.

I've only just seen this!!! Guess that's what you get for having a sick bubba
I hope everythings ok
-
Oh Kate, I hope everything is ok. If it makes you feel better, I had some brown discharge mixed in with some creamy CM about a week ago - and nothing really since, so try not to stress. Its a difficult time (up to 12 weeks) and I think every pregnant woman does the undies check... I know I do.. LOL
