Gday guys I don't post in here very often. I am currently in my tww 7DPO we are saving to go a fresh round of ICSI after almost a year off ivf we have just done our first natural cycle using pre seed and clear blue OV digital detection just so we can cross something else off the list that didn't work. Im going insane reading into all my symptoms and started checking my cervix properly this cycle the past few days it has been low and very open and super squishy now its sort of medium hard and closed clear cm my temp has dipped from 36.9 to 36.4 im due for af in 7 days for the first time in I cant remember when I had all my O symptoms on the right hand side normally I get it on the left. Its probably too early to be stressing over these details but I cant help it as I am sure you all know all too well. Im feeling super tired my back pelvic pain is a lot lower down than it normally is I have had some days of heart burn. When I am pregnant my body tells me in a big way very early last year we had a mc at 4 weeks after ivf was devastating and what made it worse was my body had put up a neon sign saying pregnant pregnant so whilst knowing I was losing our angel my body was fighting telling me it was happening.
Has anyone else used pre seed or charts CP/CM:wall:

I was feeling positive about this cycle but am deflated now. Had dream that neither of my remaining embryos defrosted then I got the phone call to say only one has defrosted. I thought putting 2 in would increase our chance that at least one would take. Now I've just been food shopping & seen 3 sets of twins & babies everywhere. Why does something always have to go wrong for us?

Transfer done & dusted. Am feeling a bit better after my acupuncture session. I have been so emotional lately - I now need to think positively for this final one little blast on board.

Hello to everyone else!

Well AFM, AF still hasn't arrived yet, so it looks like this cycle despite taking the progynova will be a noraml 28-29 day cycle (I hope!). Went to see my IVF nurse and she told me that I will be doing a natural FET this month (well more like next month as it's already the 22nd). So no support, much like the cycle I did with my wee man. So kinda excited that we'll let my body do it's own thing, now I am hoping the embie thaws out beautifully and the transfer goes well. I did get told off though......:redface: I'm still having my nightly ciggie most night, she said to stop NOW! Anyone knows how long it will take for the nicotine to leave my body? Bit stressed about it now :(

Can I be put back to cd1 :( damn witch arrived 2-3 days early, plus side should be gone by my birthday.
We have our first fs appointment today. I'm nervous as to what to expect. We saw another fs about 18 months ago but we never went any further than the first appointment due to "taking a break" amongst other things. I just want to get everything going now!!!
So cute dh had 2 eggs this morning and both had double yolks, he said it was an omen lol he can be so sweet sometimes

Miss.B, naughty girl sneaking ciggies!! Seriously though, if you quit now you should be proud of quitting rather than beating yourself up over delaying. How many women quit after they are pg (or don't quit at all)? You're still a step ahead of all of those. It's not like quitting is easy... I'm glad you feel more comfortable about the protocol for your next cycle. FX it works as well as it did for the cycle that gave you your little man.

Afm, CD17 and still no +opk. No idea why it's suddenly late. My cycles used to be regular as clockwork and now they're all over the place... *sigh*

I think im out back pain still low temp and feeling very tired 8DPO normally my temps don't drop this early though :( Not that I should be surprised it was only a clinging to strings trial of the pre seed going to try again next month just once more
Good luck everyone else. Question on egg quality is there anything I can do to start improving my egg quality we are looking to hopefully have saved enough to do a round by the end of the year.

Dustyboots we were advised by fs to take Co enzyme Q10 150mg twice a day, vit E, zinc, fish oil, vit B complex. Prescription meds they recommend (check with your fs first) melatonin, dhea and growth hormone

dustyboots, ditto the CoQ10. You can take up to 600mg per day (but it ends up being very expensive). It's best to take it in the morning because it increases energy levels and can interfere with sleep. There's another form of CoQ10 called ubiquinol which is supposed to be more efficiently absorbed, but it's less readily available. I know some of the ladies on this site buy it online because it is supposed to work better and I think you don't need as high a dose (?). And if you want to look into the prescription options mentioned by Bunnyfeet, be sure to discuss the s/e with your FS as all of those come with strings attached (although the main problem with the growth hormone is price - about $2k per cycle)...

So looks like due to being interstate etc when EPU and et would be in September we are now starting mid-end October when af shows. The dr advices due to my history ivf is the best place to start which is fine with me, no wasting money on iui if it won't work. Good news is dh sperm is completely normal which is a relief :) now just to wait!! Oh the fun!!

juniper im taking 150mg COQ10 X3 daily which only adds up to 450 do you think I should take an extra one I think im taking the bio organics one?

rai, I was taking 600mg for about 6 months and have since cut back to 300mg to save some money. I have gotten a BFP when taking only 150mg, so I figure every bit helps. If you want to take an extra one, go for it... I was taking the blackmores one (4x 150mg) when I was taking 600mg. Now I take one blackmores and one of the one my acu sells (which also has vitamin E and alpha lipoic acid in it), each of which is 150mg (hence 300mg total). I've been toying with the idea of taking it up to 450mg (2 of the blackmores plus one from my acu) but don't think I'll go back to 600mg unless we decide to go ahead with an IVF (and then I'd do it for 4 months before to prepare). Did that make sense or are you now as confused as me? ;)

Juniper, hehehe I know...I have stayed away from the nightly ciggy last night and tonight, really didn't bother me at all, will keep going and stay good. About the CoQ10 and taking them at night....no wonder I have been a total night owl for the past few months!! I've been taking 300 mg in the morning and again at night, might have to do a morning and lunchtime dose instead.

Babycakes, yay for hubby's swimmers being good! And I will have everything crossed for you for your cycle in October/November.

It looks like AF is almost here, bit of brown spotting today and CD28 tomorrow so it looks like we are still on track.

Dustyboots...I've started taking dhea 75mg & 600mg coq10 to try to improve egg quality as well as metformin for my pcos & general preg multivit. I'm certainly hoping it is going to help as this will be my last chance.

I take coq10, vitamin d, DHEA, metformin, melatonin, a good multi, thyroxine, fish oil, magnesium.

quick question i'm going on holidays and have stopped taking metformin and elevit and only just started CoQ10 after stopping it 3 weeks ago, so all i'm taking at the
moment is thyroxine and CoQ10 and a diet tablet the dr gave me. I'm not ttc until after I get back around the 20th sep. So should I still be taking metformin and elevit
to keep in my system or just start when i'm going to ttc again?

Rai I would definitely continue to take them. I only stopped taking metformin after the first trimester with DD & began again straight after birth. The elevit is to keep your folate/iodine levels up. Happy holidays :)

Keep taking them. It takes three months before they even begin to do anything.

WEll I don't think im out of the running just yet my temp has peaked yesterday it jumped from 36.4 the day before to 37.2 yesterday and 37.1 today :) fingers crossed I cheated and did a poas this morning BNF but prob still too early is it possible to have an implantation dip for more than a day?

Had my transfer today, we transferred two! Feeking a tad emo, so just a quick check-in to say hi before I have a nap and then work on keeping busy and focused on making sure those babies take.

Came back to reality with a thud....speeding ticket in the mailbox! Ah life!

Afm - not feeling hopeful. Haven't had much action down there. When I got my Bfp I could feel implantation 48hours after transfer. Don't think I'll even go for bt.
