Hi all, hope you all manage to escape the heat today.
Yippee for the sleep. Polaramine is an antihistamine and a sedative. Can at least make life bearable
-
I used to take polaramine for hayfever years ago, but it stopped working for me :( . (there is a terrible smell in our office....smells like wet washing that's been left instead of hung out. Can't for the life of me think what it is???).
Heather, I think my email (via BB) is playing funny buggars. I'm not getting messages. I think I may have stuffed up the setup somehow. So can you please email to [deleted] with what you previously sent? This is our home business email addy. (I guess I should delete this later on?? I'll leave it up for a few days).
Beckles, the way you choose to immunise or not immunise your kids is your choice - not for us to judge whether we agree or not.
Kate, I concur with the others...at lest 10 days and even maybe 14 days. As for me, I have no idea wqhether the spotting I saw what the first return of AF or O or implant. Who knows?! (I can still smell that smell....driving me nuts!) . I am not testing for another week as that will be 2 weeks sinse I last tested. Maybe I should sneak a few BDs in anyway?? ;) .
Ohhh, I hate the change of the thread - I can't refer back whilst posting...and my memory is like a sieve.
I tried to get Pup into swimming lessons today. In our town there is no chance. All classes were booked out before Christmas. Apparently, mums book kids in before they are even born!! The main problem is, there is only one private pool with one teacher and HEAPS of babies and kids. The council run pool doesn't take kids under 4 (normal Vicswim program). Whilst I have my Austswim quals (although prob out of date now), I have never taught babies and don't want to stuff it up with my own! Also, I liked the thought of meeting new mums myself. I can get him into Geelong, but that is almost a 2.5 hr round trip for only 30 minute lesson. The local teacher told me to call around next week and she would show me some things to do with him until she could squeeze us ion - but that won't be until 3rd term which starts in July. He'll be 1 by then! Good grief.
I had other things to say, but I can't remember the conversation and this smell is driving me insane.

edited to add:
Kate, yeah I got the email from Babies Galore too, but the prob with ordering the knee protectors online is that they cost $24 and the place wants $20 postage!!! Waaaay too much in my mine given that they are a small light package. That's why Heather offered to get them and post them down using standard mail. I mean, I ordered stickabouts for Pup's nursery from the UK via EBay and the postage was less than that and I got them in a week. i can;t for the life of me think why postage is so expensive. Shame really and I might have order more stuff...
-
Hay, I really think the swimming lessons for under 1's are just water play, KWIM?? We took the twins and found it a bit of a waste of money, we did 1 term, then quit and took them swimming ourselves once a week and just had fun, ( much better, cost less and we stayed in for more than 1/2 hr) Rianna started at 1 and I wont start Dion til 1, by then they can participate in a lot more things ( humpty dumptys etc)
Anyway that is only my opinion, see how you go!
Kate, good that you have an AC house to go to ( and always nice to catch up with our dads!!) I am home with my AC on and the littlies, the big girls with my sister and DH at work.
-
hi all
vanita we had the same deal with swimming and baby's. i took josh and thought it was a waste of money i don't start until 1 either we just go in with them and play.
fletch yay on your weight loss good on you
kate i hope you log on on sat and let us know either way?? please!
i don't use any contraception yet as i haven't o'ed yet and not likely to i didn't with my other 2 anyway. den is going in for the snip soon and then i won't have to worry at all ever again! yay. imagine that no more need to worry about contraception it will be grand.
oscar is starting to creep forward more and more. he really moves around the room now. boo hoo my bubba is growing up. ok better go next match starts i am so sad maria lost.
love beckles

Fletch well done on the weight loss issue. How are you doing it? I really have to do something. I weighed myself today and I am 88kg (! !). And I am only 5'2" so I am about 20 - 25kg overweight....OMG that's OBESE!

Hi chickies, just a really quick one as we are off on holidays today to sunny QLD. Should be a really nice break, going with some friends and their kids plus hubby and coby and me.
Just thought I'd let everyone know that Coby has a tooth! Been troubling him for weeks now and I could see that they were almost there, then this morning, bam, there it was! Jagged little edge, poor little puppy, he must have been in heaps of agony with them!
Kate, Im not pg, got AF finally. I don't even think I o'd this month, just couldnt see any changes in cm. Oh well, not too worried, not as if Im trying desperately, I figure it will happen if its going to...Im not gonna stress about it. How are you going? Any news yet?
How are the rest of you ladies and bubs doing? Hope all is well and I will try and catch up with all your posts when I get back.
byeeeeeee

I had a quiet day with littlies, both slept a lot, but had some good 1/1 time with Rianna, so much happier, well lucky me, I had a "date night" planned for DH and myslef for tonight ( you know seafood ****tails, nice dress etc) and he just called me, he's going to the Erica fires this afternoon, and wont be home til Sunday *sigh* everytime I try to plan alone time for us, a child gets sick, or a family member pops over for a visit or something!!!! UGH UGH UGH, sorry, got that off my chest for now!!! Will try again Sunday night maybe!!!!
Bel, yeha for QLD, bumma for AF, as you said early days yet, next month hey!!!! Yippee for toofy!!!
Hay, I'm waaaaay overweight too, havent lost it since pg with no 1.!!!
Kate, good luck for BFP !!! Swimming is great, at this age they call it water play, are water familiarisation, so its not a great deal they do at lessons, just get the kids used to splashing and water over the face, Yippee on AC!!!!
Fletch, WTG!!! i havent weighed myself for ages, so no idea !!! Nope I have used Dimetapp, for Dion, especially when his chest is bad, to try clear soem of the mucous away.
-
Hi Kate - Testing Sunday CD30, due tomorrow so I thought Sun would be best if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow. Have every pg symptom that there is especially sore BB's and cramping. CD42 for you, what is going on?? Good luck!
Amy was sitting up in her cot today gurgling to herself. DH is lowering the base and putting the side up now!
Hope everyone is well, I still try to catch up with you news. Very busy at work ATM, week after next I will be on BB more.
-
Hi,
Just quickly poking my nose in to see how you're all doing and to report on us.
We are off to Thailand on Sunday. The trip to Oz just flew by too fast, can't believe its just about over.
Al did so much growing up. His got his first tooth, he babbles quite a bit now, can still scream the house down when he feels like it, doing commando style pulling himself along the ground and loves making a loud noise by banging too toys together. He is quite good at standing up (with help) but still can't sit steadily. He loves to eat and is still not sleeping through. He loves his cousins and hanging out with little kids. He giggles at them all the time.
Better go, we are always doing something here! Will be back online again once at home in Denmark in a week or so.
-
Vanita, I hear you babe! I have exactly the same issue with DH..he was running the strike teams for the Bessiebell fire on Sunday, then Monday was back in doing relief crews, then Monday night I lost him to an IMT down in Geelong and then he came home on Tuesday, worked all day ont he farm to get done what hadn't been done the previous two days. I then thought he was home that night, but then there was a terrible terrible car accident (2 fatalities) and I lost him for most of that night too! When he eventually came home, he slept! Can't win. Just that time of year I guess. CFA widows; that's us!!
Sooooooo, how did the testing go Gemma and Kate??? Dying to know. I will test early in the week. Can't say that I've had any pg symptoms, but then my body is not back to normal, so I might not know(?). Felt like I was Oing yesterday (felt heavy in the adbomen) so we BD'd just in case (I was just about to type JIC but is that an acronym?? Let's make it one 8-) )
Deb, glad to hear that your Aussie holiday went well. It is amazing how fast the time goes hey?
We are trying for a holiday in March and we are a bit stuck as to where to go. Anyone got any suggestions? As a couple, we have been to all states and territories (only as far north in NT as Alice though and as far north as Perth in WA). I would LOVE to go to Darwin or Broome, but unless we can swindle cheap seats or frequent flyer seats, it might be too dear. Ironic that it is cheaper to go overseas (ex Melb) than to travel with own country. Also, I was concerned about Pup being on a plane all day, but then Deb has just done it with Al and he seemed ok. Although, we will only be away for 10 days MAX, so not much time for recovery for small one.
We have just started with mashed carrot here and I mixed it with a bit of Farex and EBM to make it more....well....visually appealing for me!!! LOL. No, truthfully, I did try him on the carrot by itself, but it kept coming out. But when I mixed it up, he ate it no probs. We are now onto 1 good meal a day (lunchtime) and 1 decent snack (at about 5pm). After I visit MCHN on Thursday, I'll probaby increase again to include snack in morning. But Pup is definately a fruit bat.
Muggy weather here today.
Run out of things to say :-k so, cya for now!

Hay, have not given Dion much in the way of fruit ( paeds advice) and also I have found most bubs love fruit, as is naturally sweet (like bb juice)Not only am I a CFA widow, but a CFA orphan too, one of my earliest life memories, is being left sitting in Dads ute at the fire station as he roared off in the truck ( he had just picked me up from Kinder) I was hungry so I walked down the street and asked the people at the fish and chip shop for some baked beans for lunch. They of course rang my mum ( who was at work) So the CFA is a "bad" memory for me KWIM??
Dion has weetbix with apples in morning, and vegies for lunch, meat and vegies for dinner, and is eating twice as much lately!!! If has tinned, eats a whole tin! Will not eat yogurt, as will only eat warm things, and a bit hesitant about heating up yogurt, does anyone know if you can?????
-
Happy 6 months to little Zane fletchie :smt038 :smt038 :smt038
Jo
-
Kate, I didn't even see your post about the BFN..sorry bout that. I was going to test this morning and then peed right in the toilet, so buggar to that! I'll do it tomorrow. I know I could have tested with other wee throughout the day (the tests seem sensitive enough) but hey, what's one more day?!
Vanita - LOL about your dad leaving you in the ute when you where a little one. My DH gets so focussed when sirens are going off, pagers are bleeping and fire phones are ringing, I could imagine him doing the same thing!
Zane - happy 6months!
Still no teeth for us yet. They don't even look like coming through. I might have said this before, but DH never got teeth until he was 14 months, so we could be a good while off yet. As for the rolling, Pup is getting rather good at it. Not all the way over - usually just from his back to his front. He finds it so funny. He is doing it a bit in his cot now too, generally when he is awake and wants to get out. But for those more experienced than I, when do you not worry about them sleeping on their front? I have gone in a few times at nighttime to check and Pup has been asleep on his belly. I roll him back and most times he stays asleep (or goes striaght back to sleep) but occasionally I wake him up and then have to feed him. I hate being the reason he wakes int he middle of the night :fuming: .
Went for a massage today - I have had a sore muscular thing in my back. EVERY single vertebrae hurt when she pushed on it. And the radiating pain in my pelvic area - WOW!! Probably a hang over from being pg, but I don;t really know. Very sore atm but will feel heaps better in a day or so. I really should have gone sooner.
Hayseed
-
Kate, sounds promising!!! Good luck for the blood test!!!! Rude contractor!!! shame you now have to wait, but i guess its only a fortnight isnt it? Cool, Dion only eats 1/2 a weetbix
Hayseed, Dion sleeps on his tummy half the time, and I just make sure his cot is clear of "stuff" and he could lift his head up IYKWIM> We dont have any teeth either!!
Brooke, glad to hear the sleeping has worked itself out, now you just need to catch up!!! Maya is very talented little lady!! Rianna furniture walked the day after she crawled (7 mths) but didnt progress to walking until 12 months.
Fletch, happy 6months to Zane.
Boo hoo about the needles!!
Well the girls started back at school today, am nervous for them, they are in grade 2 and are in separate classes for the first time!!!
Dion was a bugga last night, and was awake every 1-2 hrs, settled with just a dummy and re wrap, but its just the getting up all the time, as I am at work tonight, so I'm tired before I start!!!
-
Hey guys,
I am around but with the house on the market and constant opens we are all over the shop.
Kate - glad to hear Kelsey is as beautiful as ever!! God i wish i could give her a cyber cuddle! We have been baby signing to Hendrix since 3 months old (morso for us so that we get used to signing with the word). He is just starting to sign dog when he sees my jack russell (she lives with my mum and dad and they have a full on love relationship). YAY for the line!! OMG OMG im waiting with baited breathe! Will you get a blood result today??
Hayseed - i hope your back is ok.
Brooke - Maya is just such a champ! Boy is she advanced its unbelievable. I wish i could see her doing her thing. Im so glad that she is sleeping for you. Hopefully in a couple of days you will have caught up on your much needed rest!
Fletch - Happy belated 6 months inZane!! hehe
Vanita - Hope the girls went ok at school today! Im sure they will blossom. Hope your shift isnt too unbearable with the lack of zzzzz's!
Well so much is happening on our front. Busy busy busy. The biggest thing is that Hendrix has pretty much been refusing the bb for most day feeds and ive decided after much deliberation and stress that im going to start weaning and introducing some FF during the day and still BF morning and night. After making this decision im actually feeling slighly liberated. Is that wrong? Its just that this year im going to be studying (externally) but will have to have on-campus days for the subjects. plus id like to start yoga again. It would just be nice if i could have some time-out and Mike or my mum could bottle feed him. What do you guys think?
-
It must be going around...babies not sleeping well. Pup woke up twice last night (he has NEVER done that) and because he is all stuffed up and sounding snotty (but I can;t actually see it though), I couldn't settle him with the dummy as he couldn't breathe. Poor buggar. Even BFing was a challenge yesterday as he would have to take a really deep breathe, take a few sucks and then come off gasping for air! Awwwwww. He is not better today, but not worse either so I didn't bother taking him to the GPs. I'm seeing MCHN on Thursday so I thought i'd speak to her about blocked sinus (unless it gets worse tomorrow).
Kate, I tested this morning and got a BFN :( . Actually, I really didn't expect anything else cause except for those 2 days of blood tinged mucous, I've had no sight of AF since getting pg with Pup.
Heather, I have noticed in the past few days that Pup is also dropping off the BF in the middle of the day. his first and last feeds are rippers, but the others seem to be more of a chore for him. He is just so distracted when feeding during the day. Yesterday and today I ended up not even fdeeding him for one of the feeds and just give him solids instead. I expressed off that feed and got 80mls. It may be the beginning of the end for us too. But then, I think that maybe he is a bit exhausted with the feeding because of the stuffiness in his nose, so I don't want to miss the feeds entirely (ie not express) in case he comes back looking for them and my milk starts to drop off. MInd you, it might mean TTC #2 becomes a bit easier!! ;) . Oh BTW, will send the cheque on Thursday.
Brooke, that baby of yours is a champ. Now she's walking?? OMG. Pup has only just master rolling from his back to his front (he still can't go the other way!! LOL). I bought the Tiny hands book and poster that Kate referred to. Haven't got it yet so can;t tell you what it's like.
Well, my back is not 100% but it is significantly better. Feels a lot freer IYKWIM? I know exactly what you mean Kate about your back hurting when you pick up Kelse. Same here with Pup. But today was one of the first pain reduced days I had lately in picking him up - I'm noticing it more now he is weighing a TON! Masseur also recommended I see an oestopath which I might also so. Think I might also get back into yoga if i can find a class that suits my time frame.
Hayseed
-
Kate look forward to hearing the bld test results, finger crossed!!!
Hayseed Bummer to pups bad night, you can try a nasal spray, or those nose suckers personally I swear by Dimetapp!!! This is how Dion has fed on and off since he got Bronchiolitis at 6 weeks!! This is the "yucky" BF in the day age, Dion is a PITA when it comes to day feeds too!!
Brooke< nah you dont wan tMaya to go to school, the house is very quiet without them!! and the run run of the day, coz then you start the activities too, I looove holidays, time to chill!!! The twins walked on new years day ( 13 months) Lakeisha should have walked a few weeks earlier, but waited for Tahlia to be ready!!!
Heather: Sad, but happy about the weaning, I find it very frustrating, coz Dion wont take the bottle hardly at all, so I have to be on Tap, and find it frustrating when I want to spend any real time away from him ( more than a few hours) Cool about the signing!!!
Well the girls had a ball at school toay ( *phew*) and I dont know how DIon is sleeping, hopefully not too bad, as Daddy doesnt like missing his sleep !!!
-
All bubs are soooo different Brooke, Rianna has been my only bub to just sleep through without hassle!! Dion wakes nearly every morning between 4-6. I just redummy, remusic, and if needed rewrap, and we get to sleep again til 7.30. I dont look, speak or anything so he hopefully gets the idea, and if he's not screaming I dont go, sometimes I find I go to soon, and he's not really awake, just "dream sooking" IYKWIM> i think they get themselves in a pattern, when their "behavior" is rewarded with a visit from mum each time, They are getting to be really clever now.
My prob is Dion is unwrapping himself, and waking every hr ( nearly on the hr) to be re wrapped, and of course wont settle without wrapping!!! I know it would just take a few sleepless night to get him trained to sleep without it, but it juts seems I can never bring myslef to knowingly have sleepless nights, KWIM???
-
OMG Kate....whooooohooo CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Wow!!! How do you feel...that is so great. =D> =D> =D>
Jo
-
OMG!!!l Kate Congratulations to you , shane and Kelsey. Im just so so happy for you guys. Its so fantastic. Big Hugs and kisses to you all!
xx
-
kate omg congrats lovey i am so happy for you all.
brooke you wrote a while ago about maya's sleep issues, oscar sleeps from after dinner until we all go to bed he usually has a feed and then i slip him up to the top and in the middle of our bed where he will sleep until early morning, after den goes to work so he leaves about 6am so he usually wakes after that. then we both go back to sleep until the boys wake for school at about 730 i think. i don't follow any schedules or routine as you all know, and haven't for any of my kids, there is no rights or wrongs for when oscar sleeps or not. some days he does and some he doesn't. please don't think you are doing something wrong. you are doing a great job with maya. this too will pass. i always give challenging behaviour 3 days. when i am in the middle of it i take deep breaths and say only 3 days. so i feel like there is an end. and if it doesn't end in 3 days i start again, only 3 days. hugs to you and maya (ps zak woke and fed 2 hourly day and night for 2 years! )
re rolling sitting, crawling, talking, weaning, remember when they all start school at 5 they would have reach all their milestones and no-one will know who ate what when, rolled, crawled or walked when no-one will know who talked early - late. and no-one will care when they are 5. not that anyone would be worried here about milestones but just in case.
oscar is feeding still during the day as well and hasn't dropped off at all. he lurves it, he doesn't seem to get too distracted just gets down to business and feeds. ;)
kids are back at school :smt022 i miss them and its just me and oskey i am having such a ball with him though. he is trying to clap hands now not very well but he bangs his arms together. also bangs me when he feeds and toys when he is playing. maybe i should call him bam bam!
hi to everyone else
love beckles
-
Kate (and others who are bottle feeding) can you give me a run-down of how you weaned from BBs during the day and what bottles, teats and formula you use. Hendrix took formula a few months ago (just a bottle or two)- so i went back to what he had then and he just is not interested. We are using Nan Ha gold with pigeon perastalilc teats. But i got the fastest ones and they just flow so fast?
Would love to hear your journeys
-
Kate!!!!! I posted a congrats in the preg announcement, but again, it is great news (I'm a bit jealous!! :-({|= to me!! LOL). Seriously, it is a wonderful day! Funny about the changes to the belly buddies group - I liked cathing up with a group regularly too. I used the babies online to journal and people referred to that. Oh well, it is obviously working as they are doing it.
Well, Pup rolled over from front to back today and scared the hell outta my mum and I. I put him on his back on the lounge floor and he pretty much immediantly rolled onto his tummy to play with something. I walked out and went in the kitchen with mum. We could hear him gurgling and then grumping and grizzling, but I thought he was doing this becuse he was frustrated that he couldn't move to where he wanted. My mum went into the lounge to see to him and I could see her looking around the lounge for him and then asks me "where is he?". I nearly FREAKED  !. I raced in and I couldn't see him either! He had rolled over and over and was jammed up against the bottom of the sofa. As we were looking over the back of the sofa, we couldn;t see him (we could hear him though). God it made my heart race. I couldn't believe that he actually rolled, so I picked him up and put him back where I had before and mum and I watched him secretly. Sure enough, he started rolling over and over and moved across the lounge (not fast, he had a rest in between each half roll, but he can definately move now).
So that is our big news for the day!!

hayseed yay to pup playing hide and seek. i have had a few of those omg episodes where is he. scarey!
brooke yeah we just listen to what oscar wants and needs. we have done this with all of the boys and josh slept through 6pm to 6 am from 6 months and now he is 10 it is so josh to decide what and when he will do something. zak as i said didn't sleep much at all and that is so zak, he is our lord a leaping! oscar i think sleeps through pretty much but not as long as josh. they are all so different and i am so glad i listened to zak needing that comforting so often and for so long cos i think he would be so anxious now if i didn't. i go with the flow. i know this style of parenting isn't for everyone though.
oscar is stiring gotta go be back later.

Well, AF turned up today!! I think it is a champagne moment!! Dunno what that blood tinged mucous was a couple of weeks back. It was fairly light, so ...who knows?? Maybe my body gearing itself up.
I reckon though that AF is starting up because Pup is on food and dropping of the intesity of his feeds. Morning and night feeds are still as normal, but the day ones are a joke almost. I almost have to take him back into his nursery to feed because he is such a gig - looks at everything and the slightest noise distracts him. I saw the MCHN todya and she said most babies go through this stage and a lot return to normal feeding after a while. Hope so.
Anyway, Pup weighs 7.4kg and is 65cm long. And is coming up 7 months. So in all, he has grown 18.5cm since birth, 10cm around his head and put on 4.3kg in weight. And has become a real darl and sweetie to boot!! (proud mum =D> ).
Hmmm, run out of things to say...

Kate WOOHOOOOOOOOO \:D/ =D> ;) Knew it !!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS all the best for this wonderful joy!!!!!!!
Hay, thats great that AF is returning, yes it's pretty much perservering for the day time feeds for us too, I sometimes go and lay on the bed, so there's less distractions, and if we're out< its a few sips and a suck, and a look around!! then he wants to hop on for a few minutes every hr!! So frustrating, but it will pass!!!! LOL at losing Pup, PML when I read you reaction, could just imagine it.
Brooke, Buuma about the full time job, sorta, kwim. I'm sure everything will be fine when you go back to uni, Maya's such a clever little poss, you could probably take her, and let her do your prac (LOL) ;)
Fletch, sorry cant help you there, have tried every single teat on the market and Dion wont drink out of any!!!
Beckles, I have a "routine" of such, but watch for tired signs etc, and follow his lead, we never wake him if we can avoid it, and if he's hungry he hops on ( do a lot of "top ups IYKWIM" he's a bit of a bb boy)
Twins fed overnight till around 8 months, Rianna didnt want to after 3 months, Dion does sometimes, still now, I am a bit of a go with the flow girl too ( but my back and shoulders are not"healthy" enough to do much baby wearing I do sometimes, but end up in pain if I do it for too long!!)
Well Dion is about to take off on me, he spends most of his time on the floor, up on his hands and knees rocking, and has lifted up his hands and knees , he's also rolling from his tum, to a sitting up. so wont be long now!!! We went to Billy Connelly last night, and mum managed to get him to drink 50 mls out of a bottle!!! So had to feed the poor starving laddie when we got home ( he did sleep though, and didnt scream the whole time :-k ) I lose Dion all the time, bu the pushes himself backwards aroung the house, so usually backs minself in under chairs and tables!!! :cryinglaugh: His chest is still UGH, andwe are seeing the paed again in a few weeks, hoping we can try a few other things, I know he's talking about re testing for CF. But coz he's gaining weight not too worried.
Well I hope you all have a pleasant day ( am going to be stuffed, coz I have to go to Rianna's swimming lessons straight after work, and wont be have any sleepies today!!)

vanita i have a lightweight hence i can sling him. i don't know how my back would go if he was heavier. he had only reached 6.3kg at 6 months. not long now until dion is crawling. eeeek.
hayseed yay to af (kinda) but at least you can try for that bfp now! fingers crossed.
brooke how is that gifted or brilliant child of yours?
kate blurg to getting symptoms but i understand they make you happy. omg i can't imagine being preggy again.
well oscar must be going through a growth spurt cos he is just sleeping non stop. up for a short time and then zonked again. actually i slept this morning with him for 3 hours =D> after the boys went to school. i am just thinking lucky we didn't want our kids close together as i didn't get AF until a month after josh weaned at 18months, for zak it was nearly 3 years and doesn't look like it will come this time in a hurry either. maybe my body knows i didn't want toddler mates! i would lurve another baby but just not another pregnancy i just know i wouldn't cope. anyway this body is too tired and old now!
hope everyone has a lovely day

Hi everyone,
Having just read all the protests over the being no more belly buddy threads has prompted me to post here. I know I've got a June boy, but seeing the June/July thread kinda merged here I am.
I think since my Dad died in November I really lost the plot and didn't feel I had a lot to contribute - emotionally more than anything - however I've always read what going on with 'my girls and their bubs'
I love you guys and I'm still enjoying every minute of your journeys.
Whether I continue to post, I dont' know, but know I'm still travelling with you.
xx

Its good to hear you're still keeping in the know, Rachel, sorry to hear you are not in an emotional happy place ATM. Have you spoken to someone ( grief counselling???)
Kate, I have been pg or Bf for 3 yrs straight, and only had 12 months off prior to that ( where I was pg or BF for over 2 yrs) Basically my body has not been so for a long time, always having to consider the other person, living off or in it!!!! And will most likely be waiting another year before I might actually get it returned to me !!!!
Hay, ewww at the sneeze, Dion hasnt done that, but thinks its really fun to blow rasberries with a mouthful!!!
Beckles, as you know Dion was 4625gm born, but hasnt put on heaps of weight, but is still 8.3kg ( at 6 month check) I wore the twins a lot longer ( born 2115, and 2110) so they took ages til they were too heavy ( and I was heaps younger too!!!) Know what you mean about the tired and old body, I caould have 20 kids, IF I could afford it, and if it didnt wear me out!!!!

Hi Rach - was just thinking of you the other day. Sorry to hear things aren't well with you, but lovely to hear from you. Glad to hear you still keep up with us. Blake looks happy in his photo on your ticker!

Heather,
I picked up the latest copy of Mother and Baby and in the directory at the back there was an ad for the knee protectors that I was after. I ordered them directly from the supplier and got them at $10 cheaper than if I had of gone through the Babies Galore online store (with their rip off postage). I just wrote the check out and was waiting for my DH to sign to send off to you, but I don't need you to get them for me now - I ordered online and paid via PayPal.
So thanks very much for the offer - I should have checked to see if there was a direct site before I asked you to get them for me. However, when I did a google search only the Babies Galore store came up.
Anyway, they should be on their way, so I will have them soon enough. I can report back to everyone here as to whether they were worth the expense or not if you'd like.

hello darlings! how are you all?
Just got back from our holiday at QLD, was fantastic but definitely not long enough.
Firstly I must say CONGRATULATIONS to you Kate!! That is fantastic news!! I bet you are excited. Can't wait to hear all about your pregnancy journey
Brooke, Maya sounds so advanced - are you sure she wasn't a month overdue? LOL - She's gonna be a little lady in a hurry her whole life I reckon - there'll be no one holding her back!
Heather, good to see you back, how was your holiday? What's happening with the house? Anyone looking half interested yet? How's Hendy going?
Rachel, so sorry to hear about your dad, you ok honey? If you ever need to talk, please let me know.
Not much else to add at this stage, Coby is nearer to crawling, has got one tooth and is babbling, almost saying mum (I think) but that is all.....

hey all,
sorry i havent been around alll weekend we are all sick as dogs. Hendrix has such a bad cough and cold with fevers but he is doing ok - sleeping lots and lots thankfully.
Rach - great to hear from you sweetie. I think about you and your family heaps and heaps. We do miss you in the thread but im glad that you are still reading and keeping up with the goss. When you are ready sweet we look forward to hearing from you.
Brooke -One of my books says that they are really starting to dream a lot of vivid dreams now and that also as Kate says as they are develping so much (especially wonder women maya) that its quite hard for them to quiet their little minds. Mike lost his studio when Hendy was born (it now is situated in the lounge room) one of the reasons we are moving.
Bel - our holiday was fab - how was yours. Although life moves so quickly these days that it seems like a life time ago.
Hi Laura
Hi Fletchie
Hi Kate - big hugs to you hope you get some extra sleep somehow.
Hayseed - thanks for the email (and post). Glad you found them cheaper. Let us know how they go.
Well the house selling is going quite well. We've had some interested people but we are going to auction (we will sell prior if we receive a good offer). On saturday we looked at a couple of houses and i saw the one that i believe is the one. It goes to auction 4 days after ours so we wil see.
Other news on our front is that amongst all the sickness Hendrix has also got a toofiepeg!! Only just a scratchie bit at the moment. How long do they take before they are out and more toofie like??
