Losing my Girls.... Ella and Eve

Hi,
I never wanted to be posting a story in this section. I joined BB when I was pg with my twins. I am just devastated, I lost my baby girls born on March 25th, Ella Rose and Eve Lily were born at 26 weeks and 4 days. Ella Rose passed after 5 hours and Evie fought so hard to stay with us for a weekin NICU. This was truly the most horrific week of my life. I want to write my story down and feel its time to reach out for support. I don't know if it gets any easier, as I feel as the time has gone on, its got so much harder. I will post my whole story soon, as I feel this could be good therapy. Thanks for listening.

No loss is easy at any time of your life so take the time to grieve as a family.
Remember when you write your story to put in things about your pregnancy as well.

I understand well the trauma of premature birth & the anxiety and stress that NICU brings with it. I can imagine just how devastating this time is. The utter emptiness and shock you must be feeling.

Nothing I am saying is sounding the way I want it to sound - but please know your babies and you are in my prayers tonight. We are here to support you - there are many here on BB who have some understanding of how you might feel.

There is another member who tragically said goodbye to her premmie twin boys - I am sure if she sees your post she will come in to support you also.

Your right, this is a section that no one ever wants to post in. I am so very sorry for the loss of your twin daughters :hug, Ella & Eve are such beautiful names: I too lost a daughter, at 19-weeks. I can't imagine what you are going through losing two at such a late stage. There are no words I can possibly say to ease your pain, but please know that you are in my prayers. I know that your beautiful girls and in a place of love & peace. Take care of yourself hun. I am sure you will find some wonderful support here.

I also would like to express how sorry I am for your loss of Ella and Eve...beautiful names for your beautiful angels. Big hugs and thoughts at this trying time in your life xoxo

Flowerchild has said what I am sure many of us who are parents of premmie angels want to say. the ordeal you have been through is horrific.

I am so very sorry, would love to write more words of comfort but I a numb for your loss. I will light a candle for you today.

angiel: Oh sweetie, I am so utterly sorry for the loss of your two beautiful baby girls. I am so sorry that they couldn't stay with you and your family.

I agree, writing down your story and seeking out support is a good idea. I lost a baby boy at 36 weeks and I've found that most people IRL just don't get it but my BB friends who have said goodbye to babies have helped me through some of the darkest times. Please be gentle on yourself, grieve your baby girls and know that you aren't alone.
