hi all,
i have APS too.. i was pregnant for the first time this year and my baby girl was born sleeping at 21 and a half weeks on the 5th August..
i have heard of people on clexane that have delivered healthy babies bailey so dont worry :)
my pregnancy was going well until i had a 19 week scan where the sonographer told me she was measuring small for the age.. knowing what i know now - next time i will be looking for this right away.. i have been transfered into the care of a sub-specialist for next time..
two things i have learned following my expereince..
clexane doses are given according to weight so as you progress in your pregnancy there may be reason to increase your dose - i wasnt on asprin and thats what a heamatologist at the hospital told me - so i would be asking your heam..
and secondly - fish oil supplements - see this site - again i'd be asking the medical people...
Fish Oil Derivatives as a Prophylaxis of Recurrent Miscarriage Associated with Antiphospholipid Antibodies (APL) : a Pilot Study -- Rossi and Costa 2 (5): 319 -- Lupus
i have been taking them since moving back onto warfarin and its making a big difference to my INR and daily warfarin doses.. i've always been on 12mg (since 2005) and now im down to 10mg (hoping to go lower)..
my fingers are crossed for you all...
i see the specialist in a months time and i plan on TTC again once AF returns.. so will let you know if i learn anything insightful
