I'm working on this as we speak. ;)
-
I've sent you my stats Christy
-
Ooer Mel, what are you trying to say???
-
Sarah - I'm sending "get out of me" vibes to WM. Hope he doesn't take it personally =)
-
Just wanted to tell you Melbo that I am in tears (as usual!) reading about your journey towards conceiving that beautiful little boy due today! Success stories never fail to put a smile on my dial no matter how sad or down I might be on a certain day.
I am so happy for you and I'm sure that little one will be your greatest ever achievement. Best of luck for your impending labour & birth!
-
hope to hear some news very soon Melbo
Jordan turned 2 days old earlier this evening, he is such a little trooper
Feeding better along with Jen learning to feed better - she's still only got partial feeling in her fingers after the few months with carpal tunnel due to the fluid build up in her wrists (amongst other places)
She's feeling soooo much better today after having the C/S wound drain removed and the catheter removed too
Was gonna update my www tonight, but I left the camera at the hospital - oopsie. Might just tidy the page up anyway
-
Hi everyone
well my J's are still in hospital
Jen's been down with a fairly decent infection somewhere. Heaps of anti-biotics via IV doesn't really seem to be making much progress, but she is actually getting better day by day
Her staples and stitches are all out from the C/S
Jordan is doing superbly though. He is feeding really well, sleeping soundly - we aren't attempting to be quiet. I've bathed and changed his nappy and can wrap him up no problemo
Hoping to have them home hopefiully on Thursday \:D/

Hello everyone!!
Well Im glad to finally have my not so little bundle in my arms!!
Am enjoying being home and spending time with my 3 boys(DH included ;) ) Was a bit worried it might to too full on but we seem to be maganing fine so far......
Cant wait to get know a few more people!!
Abs- I have been secretly watchin you and the other girls in the Due in April Thread, just never got round to gettin my butt in there? Congratulations on your beautiful son Jordan!! Hope Jen is still recovering well and that nasty infection has gone.
Take Care

Hi Anna, nup it hasn't gone... 5 days of Oral Antibiotics - day 1 is down (I hope she had her tablet tonight... she can sometimes be bad with taking them :smt021
-
Hope to be one of the next to move in here.
Abs, you need to change your ticker. When do you think you wil be a family of three at home? Hope you have company soon. Looking forward to the sleepless nights? My dh sleeps through our kid's. I have to delegate the older ones to him when this little one arrives.
Anna, congrats on your little one. Hoping this thread will move a little slower than the preg one was. Sometimes it is a little tricky to keep up. I think April bbuddies could have taken the record for the most threads. 62 or something. Anyway hope to get to know you soon. Logan is a ver big and long too. Are you both tall?
Better get back to where I am ment to be, encouraging this little one out.
-
Hi there
I finally made it to the April Baby Buddy section - my boys are 10 days old today - how times flies.
Abs - hope Jen is getting better - any idea when she and Jordan are coming home yet. I didn't have staples for stitches outside. My wound was held together with strips and covered with a clear plastic sticky thing. When they changed it in hospital Steve was surprise how neat my wound is.
You mentioned you have bathed Jordan, wasn't the first bath amazing. I was surprise how much they loved it. But it was cut a little short as Adam wee'd
I just changed my tickers so I hope it works
AMH - I see your Logan was born the same day as my Adam & Hayden
-
Hi Kelly
My J's (Jenny & Jordan) came home Wednesday night - we left right in the middle of peak hour Sydney traffic - what would normally take me 15mins late at night to get home, took just over an hour :(
But I got them home safe and sound
Don't think Jordan is liking this fornula - we have 6 tins left of the TRIGR formula, even though we found out last night that he didn't match the gene criteria
I hated the first bath... I dunno how the others get their arms around bubs and in that bath thing... I really struggled with it... Did first one at home earlier today and struggled with that too :(
Don't think he likes it either - Jen hopes his not liking the water changes soon enough... she LOVES the water
Must fix my ticker too
-
Abs ~ is Jordan getting fed before the bath or after? I know the mw tell you to bath then feed as the bubs spew if fed before but once I got mine home I would feed, then bath and maybe a top up after if they were still hungry or had a chuck. In doing this I found both my babies loved their baths cause they weren't being bathed and starving too. Just a suggestion, you may have already tried it.:)
It does get easier.
-
hmm ta Rose
He is being fed afterwards - I think. I honestly can't remember how it went timing wise today
Check out the new photo's on the bottom of my www page. The last photo is even cuter than our previous favourite !!
-
Hi all! Can't wait to join you in here, feels like its going to be forever!
Abs - mentioned it before, but Jordan is just gorgeous!
Glad you have Jen home. Is she feeling any better?
You'll get the hang of bathing soon enough, I think everyone feels a bit awkward the first few times with a new baby, even when they've done it before with other children. I agree with Rose, try feeding him before, then at least he's not hungry...
Congrats on making it here too Anna & Kelly. Hope your little bundles are going well!
Well, see you soon!!
