which do you like?? Christening gowns

HI All,

We have narrowed down our Christening Gown choices to these two, we do have one in particular that we like that we will probably go with but I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

We have decided to buy one gown to become an "Heirloom" as the current "Heirloom" gown belongs to my SIL and its not quite my taste.

Don't worry about the bonnets in the pictures as we probably will not use them as I think its more of an American thing but considering I have never been to a Christening I have no idea :rolleyes: I hope the links work I am not so savvy when it comes to this :rolleyes:

do you want it as a heirloom you coudl use for either sex ??? if thats the case neither

but if for girls I love the scarlett one :)

Oh they're both soooo gorgeous!! If I had to pick I'd go for the Flora one, I love the detail on it.

Flora gets my vote. It's stunning!

If you're going to make it an heirloom perhaps you should have something more gender neutral though.

I love the flora one too, but agree it might not be so suitable for a future boy to wear

The Flora is such a pretty design but if I am voting from a traditionalist pov then I would have to say Scarlett as I prefer all white. If only you could get the Flora in pure white then that would be my pick!:D

For what it's worth all 3 of my babies wore bonnets to their christenings and I have been to a lot of christenings where the babies (especially if young) where bonnets.
