Faint lines.......

I did a test yesterday after being late by 2 days and it came up with a faint line. So I did another one first thing this morning and this one also had another slightly darker line. Does this really mean it's a BFP? I'm actually on CD33, they have been 30 day cycles the last 2 months (ignore ticker).

I've made a doctors appt. for after work today. I'm trying not to get my hopes up - we've been trying for 6 months. Could it really be? I didn't think it was going to happen this month. The only thing different is I have been constipated (TMI) since yesterday and my boobs have stayed tender for longer.

Sounds like a bfp to me,especially if it's getting darker! Congratulations!

My bfp with this pregnancy was the same - faint line to start with which gradually got dark over a week or so :D Good luck at the docs.

I concur with the others if you have a coloured line within the specified time frame it's a BFP!!!!

Thank you so much for your responses and support girls, it's much appreciated. Everything is so new to me, I just can't seem to grasp the concept that I really might be pregnant! Not long to go now til the doctors..... I will report tomorrow.

Hi guys,

I got stuck with a hopeless doctor last night. He said nothing was really coming up on the test and started to fill out a blood test referral. While he was doing that I was looking at the test and it had a faint line. I asked if that meant something and he said 'Oh well you might be, I think so'. So he wrote down 'faint positive'. So it looks like it's still quite early but I still don't know for sure!

Another question is, how long does it take for blood test results? I will have to go sometime today.

I just found out about half an hour ago and I'm still really in shock. It's positive!!! I've got a BFP. I feel a bit shaky at the moment and I'm off to tell my mum in about 10 minutes. She doesn't even know we were TTC conceive so it's going to be a pretty fantastic moment. Thanks everyone!!
