Glads

My sisters and I, for some time now have been emailing each other with our "glads" for the day. We dont manage every day but we do it as much as we can. So I thought it would be fun to start a "glads" thread. Some people might know it as grateful or blessings... but you just have to write three things you're glad about from the day - doesn't matter how big or small.

So I'm gonna get the ball rolling. My glads from today:

1. Glad I went shopping with my mum & bubba girl
2. Glad I BF'ed my bubba girl in the food court not the skingy parents room
3. Glad I started this post! HA!

Glad I stopped eating dairy
Glad I didn't pike on shopping with a friend today, Charlotte was perfect for us!
Glad greys anatomy and desperate housewives are back on! Lol

Glad my fur babies are always happy to see me and want cuddles
Glad that I have tomorrow off work!

How bizarre, I was thinking about starting a similar thread yesterday! Great idea Belfie :D

It's a bit early in the day yet, but:

1. Glad DS1 is going back to school today (well, more than glad, ecstatic LOL!)
2. Glad DS2 is going to his 3 year old kinder orientation today
3. Glad that DD woke up and stayed in her cot chatting to her dollies for half an hour so I could stay in bed :lol:.

So glad today is Friday - the only day DS doesn't go to daycare! I get to spend it with him. Although, we are going shopping!
Glad DS was at daycare yesterday lol coz I got the baby's room all sorted (and DH's man land, and the washing - lol nesting!)
Glad it stopped raining last night coz of those clothes I hung out yesterday. It can rain again when I take them off!
Glad tomorrow is Saturday, we're going to Byron Bay for my cousin's wedding!

my glads today:

1. ooooh thank everything known to man that my gastro this morning was the shortest known to man and I can eat again (and no, I am categorically not PG).
2. I did something nice for someone today *hugs self in excitement*.
3. so so so so so SO glad my mum is staying with us at present and helped with the kids while I was sick.

My glads today:

1. Glad I have been strong enough to rehome my dog (interstate with my brother)
2. Glad I scrubbed the deck - cathartic!
3. Glad I sat out on the deck tonight with DH and soaked up the serenity.

1. I am glad DH and I had a good talk last night (I sure needed it!)
2. I am glad my sewing is going well
3. I am glad DD#1 is responding so well to my changes with how I go about motherhood!

Glad we met with MG in the park this morning, even though we had so much else to do today - DD really needed some play time and I enjoyed chatting

im Glad that im able to see past the haze of negativity that is surrounding a few people in my life.
im glad DF's car finaly passed the epa noise test today :dance:
im glad that at some point in the next 24hrs we will have hot water back.

I have ta say.. what's with all the gastro!!?!? No wonder we're doing glads!

OK so me tonight.

1. I'm glad I had friends over with their kids & they had a great play in my revamped back yard
2. Glad I had a great chat with another good friend & work colleague tonight (we're both being made redundant)
3. glad I shared a naughty bowl of twisties with my DS perilously close to dinner! Ooh excitingly naughty rebellious mummy :D (:rofl: maybe I need to get out more lol)

I'm glad I did a fitness afternoon thing with my sister yesterday even though I'm super sore all over today.
I'm glad we walked to school this morning instead of driving, and will walk again this afternoon, even though it hurt the whole way there and back.
I'm glad my littlest boy is being a really good boy today.

i am glad my baby girl is trying hard to walk on her own!

Glad I baked scones for my visitors
Glad dh and I getting along well today
Glad my DS is healthy!

1. So incredibly insanely madly thrilled that I finally got a new BLACK maternity bra
2. So glad I dyed the stupid blonde streaks out of my hair
3. So glad I had a trim at the hairdressers and they even painted my toenails for me! (have been craving some foot pampering lol)

1. I'm glad I've got the guts to attempt some glads tonight
2. I'm glad I had a yummy dinner at my IL's
3. I'm glad my children are asleep.

2. I'm glad to have my gorgeous DH home over the weekend, I miss him when he's at work!
3. I'm glad that I have three beautiful children who are currently sleeping peacefully :)
