My little woohoo

I have to share my little woohoo with the people that have known my past difficulties with breastfeeding my first 3 children.

It's taken 4th time lucky to get it right.

DD3 has not had one drop of formula - she's 12 days old. May not seem like much, but the best record I had before that was 2.5 days with DS.

And what's even more amazing - she had reached her birth weight at 6 days old, and then at the weigh in today - had gained another 210g in 6 days.

I'm amazed. And proud. And thankful to my friends giving me support and advice via text/email at all times of the night.

Just needed to share my woohoo.

fwiw, my mum had probs with her first 3 (me and 2 bros) then when the youngest came along, it all just worked (plus I think she was utterly determined that THIS TIME it would work LOL) she always says it took all her experience with the first 3 to be able to get it right eventually, then she couldn't get him off LOL.

I know how hard you tried with the last three, so it's fabulous that finally that persistence paid off. I'm really impressed that you gave it a shot this time after your disappointment before. Woohoo on the great weight gains too!
