Linea Nigra

I was just wondering when or if people got the linea nigra (sp) as i am now at twenty weeks and do not have one. My books suggest that you may have one from 14-16 weeks. Could i still get one?

I only have a very faint one in both pregnancies. I noticed mine more after I gave birth.

i have a really faint one, think i noticed it at about 20 weeks, it has got darker and longer since then, started off under my belly button, now goes right up to my bb's!

I never got one with DD, who knows with this one though?

I am with you Heather - I don't have one either...I was staring to think that it wouldn't happen!

I`ve got one, like Min, mine started below my belly button along with extra hair LOL and is now up to my BB`s, I can`t remember when I got it but has been there for quite some time, it`s also very dark.

I don't have one either and not sure if everyone gets one?

I am checking for stretch marks daily but no sign of either.

Gemma, I look for stretch marks everday and ask Mark to look as I can`t see everything now with my bump, hopefully my stretch mark cream is working (I can only hope).

I only had a really faint Linea Nigra as well.

Stretch marks.... I got plently.. probably not until 3rd tri though.

dont tell me that ambah, i hit 3rd tri today, and none yet, fingers crossed!

I am 18 weeks now and still have no sign of having the linea nigra.

i had one alst pregnancy from about 16 wks.. this time i only have a really really faint one that the docs point out to me

I didn't get one.

I have one! A really really faint one up to my belly button. I noticed it about 2 weeks ago I guess? 25 weeks? Very cool.

I got one & min I got my stretch marks during labour... thats right I had none until then ](*,)

Mine is getting darker, but it didn't come until a few weeks ago.

I only have a very faint one, but i'm not too bothered either way. O:)

Apparenltly, every woman has one even when she's not pregnant - it just tends to get more pronounced during pregnancy.
