My DD is currently in a bright pink jumpsuit, with one gumboot on, nutella all over her face, curash cream on her nose and is dancing around the loungeroom :lol:
I looked at her and had that moment. And because i am extremely hormonal i burst into tears, happy tears of course!
That moment when DD has been cracking it all day and then comes up to you with the cutest little kissy face. And goes between DH and I giving us dozens of kisses.
Or when she comes up for a cuddle and goes "awwww" and gently taps your back.
Or watching her face light up as she takes more and more steps.
Or even just going through the photos of her hospital stay.
I love her to bits.
And that's hard to write after just being slapped and screamed at.
The other day I set DD1 up with some food on the kitchen tiles as she can only eat on the tiles (so kitchen or balcony) and went to the toilet quickly when I heard her following me in. I was all like "aren't you meant to eat on the tiles?" and then she pointed to the ground like I was an idiot. Duh Mum, the bathroom is tiles! I just love when I'm outsmarted by a 3yr old, she is so clever sometimes it makes me gush... then annoyed that I can't even rely on food to let me wee in peace lol.
Everything. My heart bursts for her :heartbeat: :loveshower:
When he learns something new and the grin on his face tells me how proud he is of himself
When he says "luff you mum"
When he offers kisses and cuddles (this is rare, so extra special)
Being woken up with a kiss in the morning
the random funny things he does every day.
there are so many things but some of my faves:
when he's upset he doesn't necessarily call for mummy but calls "i want the mummy"
'i love you mummy'
when i ask him if he'd like something (that he really likes) and he says 'oh yes pleeease'
if i say 'ow', he always asks 'you ok mummy?'
how they're so unconstrained by what you should & shouldn't do, so if he feels like pretending that he's been shot & wants to fall to the floor in the middle of the supermarket or post office, he will :lol:
whenever he's asleep - doesn't matter what mischief he's been up to or how grumpy he's been, they just look so precious when they're sleeping. makes my heart melt everytime.
Even though he's almost 1 year old I still find myself in disbelief that I am a Mother and he is my Son. Everyday feels like Christmas to me and every time I look at him I can't believe he's mine and I was lucky enough that we got to have him come into our family. My most special bursting with love times is when he is sound asleep in his cot and I can just stare at him and soak him up because he is quiet and still. I also burst when I see him interacting with other people and having fun. When he's playing on the swings and he laughs I just about explode with all the love that wells up inside me.
I'm so happy that I changed my mind and decided to become a Mum. It's the best thing I have ever, EVER done and I almost missed out on the experience because I was a selfish idiot.

When I see him running around, smiling and laughing and interacting with other children and people. I almost cry everytime!
I have a few...
The moment he lets go of my nipple and I look down at him and wonder exactly how he manages to get *that* much milk smeared all over his face
Waking up to the sound of raspberries (new fave trick) and the big smile when I get out of bed to pick him up
The way he rests his head on my shoulder and cuddles in when I'm carrying him around the house.

When I settled DD for the night, she looked at me, pulled out her dummy and said 'Mama' in such a beautiful voice my heart melted and I nearly burst into tears. I smothered her with kisses saying over and over and over again how much I love her to bits....................!:p
Oh about half an hr ago, DD1 was in bed going to sleep and I had DD2 asleep in the ergo. I went in to check if DD1 was asleep and she wasn't yet but she stood up and said 'I need to give DD2 a kiss!' She kissed her then layed her head on DD2's and whispered 'I love my sister so much' naawwwwwwwwww
So many moments throughout our days!!! But definitely mostly when I see my girls playing, interacting together & DD1 giving her little sister a toy so she can join in and saying to her "do you want to play too bubba? Yeah!?" soooo cute and makes me so proud of her. What a little lady.
And DD2's looks of admiration at her big sister...
So many things but today I was dozing on the couch - got the flu on top of "morning" sickness. DD2 came and sat next to me and gave me the sweetest, lightest kiss on my cheek and then covered me over with a blanket. Heard her telling DH "shhhh Poor mummy's sick." So gentle and loving - makes me proud to have had any hand in creating such an incredibly sensitive little person.
DS2, when he's blowing sloppy raspberries on my tummy when I'm trying to lift my shirt to get my boob out and feed him.
