Names
DH and I are onto our third Bubba. I'm convinced Jellybaby will be another boy and we have always had trouble agreeing on names so hit me with some names.
DH likes "normal" names, nothing too out there. Our other boys are Noah Henry and Hamish Leonard. I'd like to use Arthur as the middle name.
TIA

My DS is Benjamin ... middle name Lees. Quite traditional although Lees is DH's name and never heard that before :)
If we have a boy this time I have noooooo idea what we will call him. Boys names are so hard. I'm not even going to try and attempt it until after the anatomy scan hehe
-
My boys are L iam J effery and C aelan J ames.
Other names on our list were
Owen
Angus
Lachlan
Dylan

Names
My DS is Dean Michael.
I have no other names not even girls as I let DH pick.
Why not have Arthur as a first name all the Arthurs I know are really cool ;)

We had trouble agreeing on boys names too.
Hayden
Cooper
Reuben
Rowan
Evan
Archer

I know a family with three boys... Noah,Hamish and Seamus... Might work for your family too :)
-
My boys are
Rhys Patrick and Liam James (twins)
Boys names were so hard, but originally Rhys was going to be called Cale or Cael.
I also liked
Owen
Euan
Seth
(bit a of theme running :))

Our DS is Lachlan.
If DD had been a boy, she'd have been a Kai/Kye or Keiran.

I agree that boys' names are hard. Our DS is V iktor S tanley. Other possible names that we had were:
Adam
Adrian
Alex
James
Julian
Patrick
Robert

We have never agreed on a boys name - lucky we've had two girls!
Lachlan
Dylan
Benjamin
Seth
Cade/Kade
Liam
Oliver
Oscar
Harry
Samuel

We reeeaaaaaally struggled with boys names... Both times we only had one name... But hey I guess that's all you need ;)
I would make lists and DH would go through and go "no, no, no, no" :wall:
Some of the ones I had were:
Aidan
Rohan/Rowan
Thomas
William
Matthew
And you know what we settled on in the end :)
ETA - I know a little Harry and he is cute! Might not work with Hamish though!

I have the same problem OP. Add to that DH doesn't like names that will be shortened like Benjamin, Thomas, Christopher etc. Drivers me batty.
I thought about Arthur as a first name but it was my grandpa's name and makes me think of an old man. I like it as a middle name but not add a first I don't think. So hard.
I've put some on a list to start a conversation with DH later on. So far I have
Angus
Rowan/Rohan
Liam
-
Xavier
James
Devlin
Ethan
Were our boys' list.
For your hubby though, maybe suggest he keep in mind that the names won't be shortened if you don't shorten them. There may the odd noodle that tries to call Thomas "Tom", but if you introduce and call him Thomas, then others will also. It won't be until he is older and at school when he develops a nicname and that will most likely be within his choosing anyway. Just an argument for your toolbox! LOL

If we ever get to have kids which is proving hard our boys names are

Jacob
Max
Elias
Oliver
Hayden
Oscar
Dylan

Re: Names
My DS has middle name of Arthur - I think most things go with it but something that cant be shortened are more tricky - Ryan is hard to shorten - as is Rory, Leo.
-
Names
We went for non-shorten-able names, easy to spell & pronounce and one syllable.
Blake
Wade
Considered
Cade / Kade / Kaid (nearly named DS2 this but couldn't agree on spelling)
