I am shocked right now, miracles do happen!!!

There have been many that have supported me in the 'Endometriosis and Pregnancies' thread. I'm truly grateful for all your advice and best wishes thus far...

Something amazing happened last night...down the bottom is a copy of what I posted in another forum...

I'm really shocked right now...it hasn't sunk in. I don't want to be overly optimistic but it's exciting. From having not much hope and having a 2nd laproscopy in March to actually being pregnant is...hate to use the word again...shocking...

Just wanted to quickly post this to thank everyone and let you know that miracles do happen!!! I'm speechless...

I have been posting in the Endometriosis forum as my wife has endometriosis. We were actually booked in for her 2nd laproscopy in early March due to 10 attempts at conception since getting married in Feb '06.

But...oh my god, my wife has been having a symptom of pregnancy, sensitive nipples, and since she missed her period and had a spare pregnancy test, I told her to just have a test. And guess what, we got the double lines. I'm catiously happy right now. I even went out at 10pm to get another pregnancy kit and got the double lines once again.

We are both going to take the morning off work tomorrow to see the doctor. She has been getting light spotting for 6 days now and she hit herself quite hard to the side of her stomach 4 days ago when her period was due. So I'm a little worried about miscarriage. And with endometriosis and all, I'm also concerned about ectopic pregnancies.

Anyway, hope all goes well tomorrow, I should be over the moon but just silently happy...

Ok, just back from doctors and she confirmed my wife is pregnant via another urine test. The doctor said no need for blood test. Since coming home, we've cancelled our laproscopy in March and booked in to see delivery gyno in less than 2 weeks. It is absolutely crazy at the moment, it hasn't sunk in. Doctor said no need to worry too much about spotting, we will see an ultrasound specialist next week if it continues for more than 2 days.

It's always hard to feel optimistic worrying about ectopic's etc with endo, but I'm sure it will all be fine. And your Dr is right, spotting is quite normal.

I am finally back online after a crazy first 6 weeks with DS. I was catching up and saw you were due to see Jim and then saw your good news - I'm so pleased for you both! Lots of sticky vibes coming your way.

We had actually already seen Jim and he booked us in for the 2nd laproscopy. He said it was going to be a minute chance to conceive naturally. Just shows, don't give up hope. How weird it was for us to cancel the op.

Guys, just wanted to give you an update. Had our first ultrasound this morning and everything is fine!!! No ectopic, baby's heart beating at 140bpm...and I have a DVD!!!

Everything was all just blood test results until then and now, it really has hit home... I'm on cloud nine...

CONGRATULATIONS Noisuf!! Its so great that you were able to conceive naturally. I have endo and PCOS and DH and I tried for 18 months before we finally got pg after treatment at a fertility clinic. Your so right - It goes to show that Miracles Do Happen!!

My best friend has really really bad endo and has had 2 or 3 laser surgery operations already... I can show her this tonight when she comes over for dinner and remind her that there is hope for people that suffer endo!!

The spotting stopped a number of weeks ago and I'm looking forward to the 12w ultrasound in less then 2 weeks!!

Hospital is booked. I look at the 7w5d ultrasound often to remind myself it's all true. She's starting to show a tinnee weenee bit. So excited, but each day passes soooo slowly. I'm an impatient person by nature.

Don't ever give up hope. I did...but look what happened...

Just wanted to give you all an update, we have reached our magical milestone today...the 2nd tri... Can't wait for 2nd ultrasound next tue..........
