Woo hoo! I've never been first before!!
Amanda, did you get the rice pudding recipe from this site? (I LOVE rice pudding!!!)
I've decided to do the buggered chops recipe but with pork chops instead of lamb chops. They're in there now, so it should be interesting to see how they go. I put a bit of extra tomato sauce in it too.
-
Michelle, yeah I did get it from here, it was nice but not sweet enough for me, I'm going to be making rice custard today, if you want the recipe let me know. Also let me know how the buggered chops go they sounded nice.
hugs xoxo

Yep, you'd better give me the rice custard recipe too, if it turns out ok! Maybe the rice pudding would be better with more sugar added??
I've done the buggered chops with lamb chops before and they were nice - DD actually liked them too (I think it's because they fell apart and she didn't need to wrestle with a knife!), so hopefully the pork will be just as nice.

Hello all!
I remember reading before about a really nice slow cooker sausage casserole recipe that all the family including toddlers will like. Anyone know what that recipe is?
-
to make the rice pudding sweeter you can substitute some of the milk for a can of evaporated milk, thats what i do and it's sensational!!!!!!!!
can anyone help with a recipe for chicken marylands????? i've looked thorugh the recipes and cant seem to find one, TIA

i LOVE marylands with some tomato soup, crushed tomatoes, parsley, basil, chopped onions and chopped carrots. Ohh and some chicken stock too! :D

If I make apricot chicken in the slow cooker I tend to add a tablespoon or 2 of apricot jam as I find the sweetness cooks out of the nectar when in the slow cooker.

Just wondering with the recipe for apricot chicken, how does it taste with the french onion soup, I've never had it with this before?

Just remembered I can now join this thread. Finally bought a Russell Hobbs SC. This one had a divided pot, so I can cook 2 dishes at once. Just struggling at the moment to find dishes that can be cooked together. Can't do a spice main and a plain dessert. Did have some success though with a chilli con carne and a spicy baked apples, there didn't seem to be any flavour transferance.
Anyone else have one of these cookers?

Hi All.
I tried making Cannelloni the other day and YUCKO, it was rubbery and yucky.
Even if it wasn't rubbery the filling didn't taste like it would have been a hit anyway.
Any suggestions for YUMMY Cannelloni recipes?? Please, I love Pasta dishes.
We have a 4.5L Sunbeam, we got it as a lovely prezzie. Looks good on the bench so far.
I need a very good recipe(any kind stew or whatever) to fall in love with now
-
HEHE Thanks CARO.
Been looking through the pages to find something ATM.
Hard to make a decision at the end because there are so many YUMMY sounding ones!
With my name I do get called Iza or even Izzy by my sis coz she is Yvi (Yvonne).
I do love Isabella but Iza overshadows it most of the time.
To tell the truth though, I mainly hear mummy most HAHA:cryinglaugh:
You all know what I mean once your a mummy.

I've written down the beef and mushroom casserole, sounds yummy with some fresh mash I think and veges.
I feel like something casseroly, thick and warm for a lovely winters night.
The soups sound great too.
MMMMMMM meatloaf, haven't seen that one yet, or maybe I skipped through it.

I have updated the recipe thread from the #17 chatter thread. Now that the recipe thread is so large, I have gone through and linked the index to individual posts from that chatter thread. So if you go to the recipe thread, click on the link for 'Recipes from chatter thread #5' it will open a new page with all the recipes from that chatter thread only kwim? saves everyone having to scroll down to find the post you want.
