is this labour?

Hi Ladies

I have been getting cramp like pains since 6am this morning. They started 4 hrly, now they are 2 hrly.
They dont last very long about 10-15 sec.

Could this be the start of labour?

It could be. Try having a bath. If the pains go away then it isn't labor. If they stay then it probably is. Goodluck. I hope it is!

Sounds like it to me Tracey!! Good luck!! Usually if they are BH's and you have a hot shower they will stop. If they are labour they will keep going!! So excited for you!!

The pains have continues today and I lost my mucus plug this morning. We are getting the pains hrly now and they are stronger and more intense than before so I am getting just a little excited.

I might have a halloween baby :)

Tracey is in labour this morning… how exciting! I've heard from a friend of hers on another forum. I'll keep you posted.

Deanceys Hubby here with the announcement,
Tracey gave birth to Jordan Bailey at 929 this morning 31/10/2005 via c section after a very tricky labour(baby turned sideways, would not move!)
The staff at sunshine were brilliant and i cannot say enough about how they looked after her
there will be pics going up wen she gets home, she just asked me to let you all know

Trace and Jordi are both doing excellent, he weighed in at 3.9kgs exactly and measure 51cm
