Wedding Gift for husband?

Did anyone get their man a gift for their wedding?

I would like to get him a little something. Any ideas?

I bought DH a new digital camera for our honeymoon!

He bought me a pair of .50ct diamond stud earings :D

I got DH a pocket watch he still uses it and shows it off and it came up well in photos too

I went a little bit OTT with my pressie for DH. I got him a FPV F6 Tornado ute. He got it a month before the wedding, he was told to just go into the dealership to pick a colour for the ute (base model) that we were going to buy - he was unaware it was the top of the range performance vehicle until it was sitting in the dealership nearly ready for him to pick up - I took him in on the Saturday before it got the detailing striping done - his face was priceless when he realised what it was. He no longer has it, we got rid of it to get another one, then he sold the other one just after xmas.

punkin that's a classic! I would love to do soemthing like that, but $$$!

I got DH's name tattooed on me as a surprise after we got engaged - I had to pick his mouth up from the floor when he saw it!

lol, DF would demand a divorce if I got a tat!!

Ok then... some other things I have done for him...

- I also bought him a car!!! His dream car - a Subaru WRX STi
- I had a photo book made at officeworks of our whole time together - so 3 years worth of pics! It cost about $130.
- I got an engraving on his wedding ring which he didn't see until just before the wedding
- He's nuts about the Sopranos so I bought some signed merch from their official site
- Ditto with Metallica stuff - I got a signed photo which cost a mint ($800 if I remember correctly!)

What sort of stuff does he like?

already bought him a $5k big MF. nothing to add to it .......

He also has a laptop. Just bought a few months ago.

he loves a good irish whiskey.... might get him a nice bottle (but thats just a bit lame, dont you think??)

Bottle of whiskey wouldn't be lame - but it wouldn't have the wow factor.

What about an iPhone or a cool wizz-bang gadget?

I got my DH a nice pen, which I engraved with his initials - I didn't give it to him until at the wedding ceremony, when our minister offered it to him to sign the registry and my sister said 'Oh look, its got your initials engraved on it.'

I also made up a gift bag with lots of little things in it like...
- 5c so we always had some money
- A book of jokes so we always had laughs
- An eraser so we can erase our mistakes and start again
... and so on!

I was the gift hehe we had waited ya see :)

I got dh hot diamond cuff links to wear on wedding day and he got me diamond braceletto wear on wedding day.

DH and I decided we wouldn't do gifts, instead we were marrying each other that was the BEST gift of all ;)

Maybe get some wines to put down for anniversaries, birthdays etc.
Get 1 or 2 mixed dozens that will be mature at differant times.

Ooh wine sounds good.

A bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne... We got a bottle as a gift and won't open it until our 10th wedding anniversary :D

I got DH a gold bullion coin from the Perth Mint - the price of gold has gone up quite a bit since then ;). It's an investment piece, technically he could sell it and of course it is stamped the year we were married. He's awful to buy presents for so I thought a piece of solid gold would be nice!

Another option - my sister got a star named after her DH when they got married.

i got DH a bar set, and had the hip flask engraved with our names and wedding date. he loved it!
