We made it to 12 weeks!!

OMG - i'm over the moon - we made it to 12 weeks! (well, 12w 1d today!). everything is kicking along beautifully, although i'm soooo over feeling nauseous!


had a scan today to confirm all is going ok, and get the measurements for NT scan. unfortunately, Gremlin is a bit like mummy in being camera shy, and just wouldnt turn the right way for the songrapher to get the measurement! 40 mins, and emptied bladder and mummy laying on her side we FINALLY got the measurement at 0.202 which i believe is perfect

Gremlin is very hyper - arms waving, legs kicking and being a right stubborn little prat (gonna be a red head that one!). we got to see it's spine, arms, legs, tummy, head measurements - such a surreal experience! but so awesome!

ooh forgot to add - heart rate is at 152bpm - took ages to get that reading too - the little Gremlin wouldn't stay still for a clear reading!

i thought 152 was on the cusp Cai - isn't under 150 blue, over 150 pink? might be a bit close to call at this point??? :p

Oh YEAH!!! Well done on reaching this milestone!!! Go Gremlin!!!... And just remember, all that hiding from Gremlin, gave you extra time to see them on the screen...

I still think it can go either way when it's 152, esp if little G was active at the time (so heartrate might have been up!)

my SIL reckons i'm having a boy (ring test) and bro thinks boy simply because we have one boys name and two girls!

we told my four year old niece today - she is fixated on my having a girl already - and said "i want you to name it...." i cut her off before she finished. her sis named her like that - i'm not going there!

I CAN'T WAIT to see your avvy bump....it will get me through until I see your real bump!
