OK so now that i have approx 4 weeks to go with our first boy...all the 'Oh he will come late' stories are surfacing... 'Boys always come late'.
Now i know babies come when they are ready....but is there any truth in these statements??
When did your boys arrive....early or late....and by how much!
Nope, mine was 2 days early!
With me and my siblings, my sister and I came late (me by one day, my sister by a week), and my brother came a week early - so that kind of goes against that saying!
not from my mums exp. I was 4 weeks late, my brother was 3 weeks early.
First was c/s... second 4 days past EDD... although I don't really count that as late as really my calculations could've been out by a few days anyway!!
A friend of mine has had a boy & a girl. Her boy came 2 weeks early, her girl was 2 weeks late.
2 days after due date - so not really late, more almost on time!
well DS came at 39 weeks but was induesed due to high BP so I guess he doesnt count...
Oh good....so there is hope!!
DD1 was 3 days early..DD2 was 5 days late....so its just a waiting game....but im just hearing all these boys and always being late....not many seem to come early or on time!
My DS was 5 days late.
DS1 was a week late, DS2 was 5 days early.
Meh, I have one of each and both arrived exactly 10 days past EDD after a spontaneous labour.
There is an interesting theory in my DHs family though that boys are easy births and girls give their mothers grief with looooong, hard labours. Unfortunately, this has been true for MIL, SIL and me! So hope this one is true for your sake! LOL.
Both of mine arrived exactly on their birthdays :D
Master j was on his due date
Master M was 2 weeks late
and
Master L is wanting out now 9 weeks early
Never heard that porky before. FWIW, DS1 arrived one day early and DS2 was 4 days late.
37 weeks and he was ready as anything. i hope this one is the same!!

Sounds like a funny theory to me! I can't imagine how gender can determine anything.
Having said that - DS1 was 8 days late and DS2 was 5 days late LOL! But my sister had her DS on his EDD.
