Boys names

Hi
having alot of difficulty coming up with a boys name....we have a dozen girls names that we love...but boys names we just can't agree on!! Our surname makes it difficult, I think....Lava...not an easy one to match up with.

Names I like so far:

Ethan
Joshua
Vegas.....husband hates this option...doesn't want his child named after Sin City!!!

If i had another son (tho i prob wont) i would name he Eli. like the new TV show Eli Stone. or i also like Jonah.

I will be watching this thread with interest - we are in the same boat. If I have another baby boy I fear the poor little thing will go nameless!!

I love Jonah! Might suggest that one to DH....only to have him shoot it down more than likely! LOL. Have already suggested Eli but he said no to that too :rolleyes:

I like Raphael, and Diego, though the Diego I knew got called "dags" as a nickanme..not as nice ;)

Out of your list, I like Raphael the best. I think Raph (Raf) is a cute nickname.
Ethan is also nice, although becoming very popular.
Not keen on Joshua personally.
I have to agree with your husband on Vegas. Not my style at all.
My kids love Diego ('Go Diego Go') so I automatically think of the character when I hear this name now. But this name has grown on me because of that. I never used to like it. Still not keen on the fact that it divides into 2 words, DIE & GO.

Oh, i'm a tad biased ... my handsome almost 1year old nephew is an ETHAN :dance:

Las Vegas rocks...half the reason i came up with that name was because junior was conceived 2 days after i got back from a trip to Vegas...hubby must of missed me lots!!!:D

I really like Ethan and Joshua out of the names you have. But Joshua Lava runs a bit better than Ethan Lava.

Caleb/Kaleb Lava? That sounds okay? It is a difficult last name to match up with, but from the list you have, it's looking pretty good. :P

Vegas - uh noooo sorry that is a bit OTT for me. Not a fan of naming children after american cities...

you have such a cool last name though, you will need a strong name to carry it...probably one that doesnt end with an "ah" sound ...
