Can I share a photo????

It is almost Kane's 2nd birthday!!!!! :o

It's been a long journey so far, with a fair bit to travel yet. And I have been looking over his photos a lot lately.

He is such a special little boy. So happy, always smiling, with just amazing eyes.
Here is one of the last photos taken before his first surgery. I couldn't stop crying enough to take him in to theatre myself, so a nurse took him. I will always regret that. But I was just as bad the next time too!! :redface:

awwwww what a remarkable journey he's been on! and done it soooo very well. such a little trooper!! he looks fantastic and very cute!!

I cried for most of my pregnancy, worried of his looks, but he is just wonderful, little scar and all!!!! I couldn't imagine him any other way!!!! :D

Honestly, when I first saw his lip, I imagined there would be quite a visable scar (as my uncle has from his cleft op) but in his (i think) 20 month photo - you can hardly tell!! I really do think he looks fantastic - especially those big blue eyes! I wouldnt be concerned about his looks as he get older at all, the surgeons have done a fantastic job.

It's amazing how quickly you forget..

I've got photos of my jumper I was wearing the first night after Liam's op. It's a pale pink colour and there are smudges of blood all over the shoulders (as he slept there on and off all night - sharing with his Dad). I took photos when I got home to remind me. If the gallery was working, I'd load them for you to see.

Awww he's gorgeous!! in the 1st birthday pic you can't even see the scar, it's amazing. You're so brave it must have been so hard to send him in to surgery.
