What do I want for my birthday...???

Well it's my birthday shortly and DH has asked me what I would like but (for the first time in my life, ever!) I'm drawing a blank.

I've got a list a mile long of things that DD2 (also her birthday soon) would like, but me...ummmmmmmm???!?

So, hit me with your best ideas. What should he buy me?

Generic fall-back gift answers like "box of chocolates" or "body shop voucher" will be disqualified!!!

ETA - oh yeah, I have posted this in the wrong area but i'm sure our sharp-as-a-pin mods will be onto it in no time flat ;)!

Hmmm what about jewellery? I covet some pandora for my birthday as well as a trip to a personal stylist to have my colours done so I have half a clue of what to shop for LOL (even if you have already had it done apparently your colours can change as you age). A day spa treatment maybe?

Hmm diamonds - reminds me that I *actually* would like a pink or watermelon tourmaline pendant and earrings. Nice suggestion. However he's left it until 2 days before and these'll take a bit of hunting around for...

Trill - I'm fascinated by the whole Pandora thing but I dont like to wear bracelets as I have ugly wrists. The day-spa idea is lovely though! Could use me a good pamper sesh.

I don't like chunky bracelets either, but I want a necklace with a charm to symbolise DH and I as a couple, and one for each of the kids.

ETA - but there is plenty of time for hunting down tourmaline for Christmas ;)

my birthday is tuesday and i have asked for 12 matching teatowels,a thermos, unfurl pants(google) a pamper session, i know all are being organised(except the pants)..

md - ask for a personal stylist session - and some money to spend on some new clothes in time for Spring/summer. Dh bought me one for mother's day - and it was fantastic.

Not sure I'm happy so many ppl are suggesting a personal stylist...are you all trying to tell me something :o??????! LOL Great idea restocking the tired old wardrobe though. :)

I agree Jaz's idea sounds fun! But jewellery is always good too! Or a day at a beauty spa would be nice too.

You have now got me thinking about what i want for my birthday, its my 21st and i am stumped for ideas! I suck at wanting things :lol:

Not at all MD! In fact, I have a milestone birthday in a month and a personal stylist session is actually what I have just asked for!! I think a birthday is a great time for pampering and feeling good about yourself.

Jewellery is also nice too - it has to be something you wouldn't buy for yourself I always think.

Kim I have a Kenwood Prospero. My DH knows better than to buy me kitchen implements for my birthday (;)) but I would like their supplementary accessories pack...hmmm, maybe I'll add that to my january sales list

Ok, just been out for an early dinner tea and there are some exciting birthday developments...my folks gave me some birthday $$$ so a spend on some new clothes or even some luscious pjs (will have to go undercover wear cos PA isn't man enough for women like me ;)) AND I'll be having lunch with Maggie Beer herself (!!!) well not really but a gf is taking me out to her restaurant so I might catch a glimpse of The Cook herself.

Dach I sooo agree about the books, but I'm back in the land of excellent libraries & I'm having such a wonderful time getting all the books I've been dying to read for ages from my local public library that I just can't think of any that I want to BUY! LOL

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. I read them out to my DH - who rolled his eyes! PMSL. So it's anyone's guess...

Plus then you need 1000 count bedsheets-ooh luxury
but hey cause it feels soo good you then need to have a shower or bath before you hop into bed with some Aseop Geranium body wash and whatever other Aseop products he gets for you (available from DJ's or the Aseop shop)
plus you need a great book to snuggle in with as well!!!
maybe even a nice relaxing CD playing in the background!!
