We're looking at buying a stroller, as our pram is a bit large and cumbersome, plus the rear wheels are fixed on an axel and its a right PITA.
BUT I need something that can hold a nappy bag on the handles, and that has a shopping basket underneath.
Am I dreaming? LOL!
I love my mcclaren vogue!
I can put nappy bag on handles and as not too full and heavy does not tip pram when i take DS out.
Shopping basket is small but not to bad, my main gripe with it is that you cant access basket if child asleep and pram fully reclined.

i have a maclaren vogue too. love it, use it everytime we go to the shops. it's fantastic.
we basically just keep it permanently in the back of the car. it's so handy.
I have a Maclaren Quest and love it! You can hang a nappy bag off the back, although the stroller will tip over if you take your child out LOL! I just have to remember to take the bag off each time so I don't embarrass myself in car parks :lol:.
I have a jeep and am sooo happy with it!
we couldn't afford a Maclaren and have a BebeCare stroller. It's so much easier than the big pram.

We had a Roger Armstrong Elfin. Underneath basket is really good, folds up pretty small and it's very manouverable as it's 'three-wheeler' type, with two wheels on the front (you'll have to look at a pic to understand!). We've passed it onto SIL as they live in a unit and she needs something small (also light, so it's suitable for public transport).

i did get a childcare one from target and it was really hard to steer, especially with one hand so i took it back! try glenhuntly baby carriages. the courier interstate and are much cheaper than most places!
ooh forgot to say we actually saw the maclaren, the RogerArmstrong and the one we bought together. They were the same weight, height, folded dimension and basket capacity.
Hmmm, well $400 is a bit out of the budget for a stroller...
Kim, is that the Lunar? $140... that seems more do-able for us at the moment!
What about the Maclaren Daytripper? Is that one ok? The wheels look a little small?

I hang my nappy bag from it & it doesn't tip when I take my son out but it does tip if I'm stupid enough to take him out when I have shopping bags hanging from the handles (yes I know I shouldn't do that but I do). As long as I take the shopping out first, then my son I have no issues with tipping. It also has a good sized basket under it.
It cost $159 I think.
It has adjustable handles so it suits all heights & has several different positions including layback.
we have Maclaren quest and a Steelcraft Profile, ones at my mums. The Maclaren is great, cant fault it, with the Steelcraft, when having shopping and nappy bag and baby, you cannot turn the wheels one handed you have to use two, the Maclaren turning circle one handed is wonderful.
The Daytripper doesnt recline Leasha, so not good if bubs wants to sleep also the wheels are really small, I thought the quests were small enough but saw the daytripper the other day.
I got a Valco Titan stroller and it's awesome. It's only about $140 too and even in the fully reclined position you can still get stuff out of the underbasket if you get it from the sides, and it doesn't tip over on you with a nappy bag on the handle.
I have heard lots of good comments about the Valco Titan :D
i have a baby love metoer (i think ) its great ,can put a nappy bag on and the basket is a good size , it was about $150 , or less , got it from pram warehouse , its a semi recline and the wheels are swivel or you can lock them
I got the Valco VeeBee 'Atom' stroller from Big W. Very light, folds up nice and flat, has a fairly big basket (eg. had a largish box in it yesterday to take to the post office!) and nice upright handles so it is easy to push. I think I got ours on special at about $120, normally $180.
I would of loved a Maclaren too but we already had a $600 pram, so DH would of killed me for spending another $400!
Baby zone direct is having a sale... And they have great postage rates... And Babies Galore is also having a sale...
I have a Steelcraft Profile and I liked it at first but now not so much. You can't steer it one handed, the shopping basket is big but you can't get to it when fully reclined and it tips over if my nappy bag is too heavy (but you'd probably get that with most stollers). oh and the sun shade is ****y!!!

i have a love n care one was 150 bucks its great holds a bag, has shopping basket its a decent size, fully reclines.
we got it for Dd when she was 1 as we went over seas and didnt want to take the valco big bus pram as i call it lol
it folds down to nothing so light i can lift it with 2 fingers and folds down to nothing
we got it from toys r us or k mart cant think now
oh forgot it doesnt tip over when u take bub out if you have a normal baby bag on and not all the shoppiong liek i usually do lol
has a deent sun shade and came with rain cover
