if the line came up within the stated time frame, I would say CONGRATS! I only ever got a flase neg after the 10 mins.
If the line is slightly coloured the same as the control line, even if its faint then its a BFP. Sometimes a slight shadow of where a line would be can come up but it wont have any colour to it.

In all the tests I've ever done, if it was negative there was no line there at all, so I would say congrats :)
Maybe do another test with FMU tomorrow to get a clearer result?

Dp is trying to get a photo that shows the line, while im sitting here completely speechless and my first reaction is to tell everybody and cry but i know i shouldnt.
My fear is when i re test it will be negative.. how likely is it that it will? or if its positive its a positive? im so confused right now.
Providing it's not an evaporation line, which it shouldn't be if it came up within the specified time, i would say a line is a line :)
what brand did you use?
maybe try a first response one or a digital one.

I worried about that as well, so I tested 4 times in one day :redface::
Try again tomorrow morning (first wee of the day) and see if the line appears again.
Before i thought i could see something then i showed Dp and he wasnt sure but now i look at it and i can definitely see something.
ETA: Pregnosis. it was the only one that said it could give a result after 7-10 days after conception

Me and DP did the same thing as you. DP went out 5 mins later and bought 2 different brands and I peed on all 6 sticks. All came up with a very faint line. I was only 8DPO :)

If the line has definite colour, then its most likely a positive! Congrats!
if the line came up within the testing time frame (as in read before eg 10mins) then it doesnt matter how faint it is, its a +
give it 24 hrs and retest in the morning, good luck :)

I was just reading the booklet again and it says occasionally a "shadow" can show up after 10 mins but the line definitely was there like 3 mins after i tested. ill test in a few days to be doubley sure. By then it should be darker. I'm just half expecting for the next one to be negative.. i cant afford to test after this next one i cant even afford to go see my doctor.. :(
I think its a BFP!:dance: But test I would just go to the doctors and get a bt. Do you have a doctors around you that will bulk bill?
Mine used to but they couldnt afford it anymore so now they charge $30 and honestly i dont have that this week...

just wanted to let you know that I did my research on different brands available to me, and First Response is more sensitive than Pregnosis. So perhaps you could grab the more sensitive test and try that one on your FMU??? At least if it is a positive, the line will be a little stronger ???

I remember being told if you can see a line at arms length then its a positive, sounding positive for you!
Haha i did that trick and yep can still see it i even put it on the floor and mind you im supposed to wear glasses but i dont and could still see it :D

Sounds just like what happened to us! I saw a faint line and DH told me not to get excited as it looked too faint to really mean anything. I retested later in the day and BINGO that was the :BFP:, now here I am at 16 weeks!!!
