Great Cloth Nappy Hunt time!!!!! YAY!

I have signed up the last couple of times but that is as far as I got, so this time I am actually going to hunt!
I am actually really looking forward to it, I am after a few new nappies for the girls, not that I need any :p
I have a feeling the housework is going to suffer (& I'm not hugely motivated to clean at the best of times :lol:)
I think we need a few more nappies (and some longies maybe) so I'm looking for a bargain too.

I am very excited. I only started our mcn journey two weeks ago and have a tiny stash (8 nappies). So I have lots of room left on the nappy shelf. Although i have a fluffy package on its way from Genesa Forge as well, I was impatient and could not hold off until the hunt started.
Plus i want to get a little squirt, some foaming wash and an amber teething necklace. Oh and some cloth pads for me. Thank goodness i only just applied for the baby bonus so that I can pay all this off...slowly!!!

hoping to get more icons found than I managed last time, some of them were really tricky to find. :shakehead:there goes my nights and weekends :shakehead: FB games will be having a rest for a while methinks.:D

Signed up for my first hunt this year, I'm excited and still a bit confused about how it all works but sure i will figure it out! Lol. Yep..the housework already suffers so that's no worries :lol: I do think my stack of paperwork to do for DF's business will double in height though!

Can someone please point me in the right direction (I've been sent links on FB, is this it?) - and some directions in your words so it makes sense as opposed to reading the rules & trying to make sense of those :D

Then there's a list of the sponsors that each have the icon hidden somewhere on their pages. Some are easy, some are tricky.
You collect icons and try to qualify for the prize draw.
There are specials all throughout the month.

I'm going to sign up and check out all the websites cause I want to buy things BUT last year I was so frustrated cause I couldn't find any icons :wall: I was thinking to myself that I'm net savvy and I can find my way around web sites so why is this so hard!!!!! :doh: than I got annoyed with the web sites themselves because it shouldn't be that hard to find 'anything' on a 'good' website! ahhhh ok that sounded like a pretty big rant lol but I will try to enjoy it more this time around ;)

Does anyone have a method for sifting through the sites?
For some reason i start from Y and work my way up, instead of starting a A and working down!
So far have found squat! i really dont like it when sites give u no direction as to where the icon might be hiding!

For those of you new to the game - try the Sparkling Dragon Designs one - it's simple and fun.
You're supposed to start from the letter of your surname (to stop everyone flooding one website all at once!)...

I was about to give up yesterday, but then I found some so the hunt continues :lol: Have found 2 extremes and a handful of the normal ones.
Obsidian Star's extreme hunt is pretty fun, except I'm stuck 3/4 of the way through and can't seem to find my way through it's like one of the buttons is missing or something but others have completed it so it must be ok. I'd suggest you grab a pen and paper for it though!

Well Iv'e found 3 when I was hunting for a few hours but didn't get a chance yesterday... Than on a couple of sites I found the icon and clicked on it and there were more clues :doh: not that is frustrating! I'm no good with riddles :(
I didn't know you were supposed to start at a particular spot...I'm just picking them at random..oops.
Check out the Harry's Rocky Road one too, it's a fun hunt, and oh goodness their chocolate looks so good! Think I might be doing a bit of spending there later! Lol. Probably one not to do when you are hungry :lol:

Liz that's the one that has me too. Up until that point it was fun, now it's just really annoying me!
There must be some trick to it though, I was reading on the hints forum that a few people have completed it, I just dunno how!

some are soooo easy (like 2 clicks and I've found the icon) and then others are hard

I agree Nettie - i did Obsidian Star's last night and sisn't got to bed til 1.30 as the red door thing was driving me nuts then all of a sudden i got it - definately the most fun one!
