27/02/2010 AliB welcomes Scooby

AliB and Rusty are stoked to welcome little boy scooby at 4.57pm on Sat 27 Feb. 3.98kg, 58cm long (are you sure about that R?!?). Name TBC.

Born via emergency c/section under G/A due to severe sudden onset pre-eclampsia at 41+5 with rapidly falling platelet levels. Very strange to wake up with a baby... not only was he the miraculous conception, also the miraculous birth!

He was very healthy on arrival, no meconium in waters. It was mum that was required to spend the night in intensive care, not bub! But feeling heaps better today.

He is so gorgeous and is feeding wonderfully :)

DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I managed to cover both due date groups, and your new babies born group, and the 2 previous babies born group to update us old due Feb 1-15 buddies, and completely forgot to do here! So so sorry! (Take note from my example: baby brain does not die with pregnancy ending, simply evolves when baby is born, into booby brain!)
