I just looked on the family assistance site and our is going in on Friday- woohoo
processing started today and u will get it within the next 2 to 3 weeks.
if u look on ur centrelink site it will show up when it is going to go in 3 days b4 you get the payment. iykwim
processing started on monday, so first payments go in today. last processing is friday next week, with payment going in the following tuesday. payments will show on your onine services wo working days before they hit your account.

excellent... i need this since we no get 0 CCB :( so i am using it to forward pay my fees...
hope to be next week, i usually get it around 23rd -26th
Stupid Question Alert but - how do you claim it? DS has been in childcare since January. Does happen automatically or is there a form?

It's automatic
Rowellen - as long as you are claiming ccb and are eligible for the CCR (need to be working/studying/training) it will be paid automatically

Mine is usually really quick too but it hasn't arrived and it isn't on my centrelink payments internet either. Fingers crossed it isnt far away for us both.

ohh i just updated our financial year income. and it said we now get 0% so will i have to file for it seperately or should i still get it?

as long as you are getting a percentage (and zero is a percentage - it hasn't cancelled) you will stay active and have it automatically processed:

but no where near as much as i got last time :( and i now have 2 in day care and got less than i got for one :( odd. but it will all be adjusted im sure at tax time. once my CCb is sorted etc.. but still better than a kick in the back side

Well lots of people must be checking, as the FAO website is no longer working.
the payment going in on tuesday was processed today - which makes it a past payment (there is no way it can be changed before it hits your account now), not a future payment (which can still be altered):
confusing isn't it?

Yeah, checked this morning and there is a payment there! Will be handing it straight over to childcare I think.
