After bubs arrives?
I can't wait to be able to go for a proper walk again, stand to do a sink of dishes without being in excruciating pain and sleep on my tummy :)
What about you???
i'll feel so much better when i can pick up my son without it hurting my back only another 6 months to go
Sleeping on my belly, walking without a waddle, watching a full movie without having to pee a thousand times and nice cold beer!!
Eating Feta, meats, milkshakes, sushi and pizza!!!!! I cant wait!
hmm being able to move without pain, SUSHI, wine, camembert, brie etc.
being able to hug people without the bump getting in the way!
woohoo only 5-9weeks to go! sushi, wine and cheese here i come!!!
Not worrying about when bub will arrive
Somewhere down the track will enjoy a nice array of soft cheeses, and perhaps a glass of Rose.....
Jumping in our spa with a glass of champagne and sleeping through the night without running to the loo a gazillion times!
A big thick HAM sandwich. No wait.....about 4 big juicy ham sandwiches! LOL
Sleeping on my tummy for sure.
And I'm not even half way yet. Bums to that.
didispunk I thought feta was on the 'ok' list of cheeses? I've just done a quick google and on babycenter it says it is ok too.
I am looking forward to a glass of red wine! It'll be a looooong cold winter without my red wine :( But it's totally worth it! It'll be warming by the time bubs arrives anyway so I probably wont feel like any until next winter.
I was told no feta unless it's hot
yeah i was also told no to feta, no to any unpasturised cheeses (it thankfully says whether it is or not on the label!!!!!!!!)
Being able to hug DH without my tummy in the way!! And for that matter...DTD without my tummy in the way!!!
Being able to bend over without losing my breath.
Being able to wear my normal undies without them digging into my belly.
Can't wait to get into my shapewear and not feel like I have a floppy tummy...curious to see if it affects getting back into shape, whether it holds my muscles closer and therefore makes it easier to tone up (sounds like nonsense but you never know).
Wine (ha, straight after feeds anyway), camembert.
Hmm. I'm still sleeping on my tummy...with one knee bent up as far as it will go (as in up near my head, not up near the ceiling)...seems to work for me. Not all night though.
bit soppy here..
But i cant wait to hold my little bubba, to know they are safe and are coming home. and see the looks on my kids faces when they get to hold bubba too!
CoffEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
And not having to get up in the night to pee. Our toilet is accessed externally, and I'm so over it already.
Not dropping things.
Being able to bend over and pick things up.
Getting in and out of the car without needing assistance.
Wearing my shoes without having to leave the shoelaces untied.
Putting my engagement ring back on.
Having a wrestling match with DH. :p
snugglleessss!
being able to roll over in bed without having to heave myself up to stop my pelvis hurting..
to be able to stop worrying about whether they are actually still alive in side of me or not
Oh my gosh, nearly all of the above.
Not having to pee 10 times in the middle of the night, eating all that food that's not aloud in pregnancy, being able to pick my DS1 up properly and giving him big cuddles and cuddling my new lil man. Also definitely being relieved of the stress about when bub is going to arrive due to an Incompetent cervix and worrying about a vbac.
I do love being pregnant but it's so nice to have my lil man out with me!
being able to see my DS when he tries to climb my leg, right now i just kinda hope he finds my hands.
being able to drink to two cans of jimmy that are in the fridge that i got for my 21st. along with the strong bows in the cupboard.
ohh and thickshakes from maccas. i really, really, really want a chocolate one now!
1. - Walking to the letterbox without becoming breathless

3. - Sleeping on my belly
4. - Fitting my clothes again
5. - Bending over!
6. - DTD (its way too hard at the moment)
7. - SLEEP
8. - Having more energy for anything and everything
9. - BEER! (alcohol in general)
10. - And someone else to hold the baby for a while.......;)
Oh sleepy nolan, i hope he comes for you tonight!!!!!
I"m with you i can't wait to sleep on my belly either, and drink a glass of red wine while eating unpasturised cheese.
same as mummyof4.. I cant wait to give our lil bub lots of hugs!
But yep, cheese, I am a big cheese eater and I can't wait to eat some brie cheese again.. mmmm..
Also we bought some muscat from a winery a few months ago and dh is saving it for me, oh I cant wait! I hate beer too, but Im somehow craving it.. grrr...
I just love how good you feel after you have bub, just not to be pregnant anymore!
Deffinafely not the afterbirth pains! But after giving birth, there is nothing like holding this little person you have created and carried around for 9 months and then attaching them to your breast to feed them! It's just beautiful!
Welcome to the world Elijah John!
Yay sleepynolan soooooo excited for you. I have been waiting with anticipation to when your little man would be born. Congratulations!!!!!!
Thank you Mrs Hendo! It's so nice to be home! I have been so busy with bub I haven't had much of a chance to post. Everything went well and it was a short labour! He was the first baby born on mothers day in Brisbane. We were on the news and in the paper! Labour only lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes!
Now just waiting for your BA........lol
Cosleeping with an eeny-weeny-tiny baby :loveshower:
I miss my feet. Just as well I mostly have slip-on shoes ...
Also would be nice when the toddler jumps on my tummy to NOT get kicked like crazy from the inside :o
Only a few weeks go to ...
Go for a run without wetting myself!!!
Oh and Kabana!
I can't wait to my week long stay in my own room in hospy and not have to cook, clean, tt, hang out washing, feed a dog and bird.
I look forward to being able to read (some of) a book, watch a DVD during the night feeds, make a phone call without being interrupted and being able to go to the toilet without someone already ebing in there....like right NOW!
xxxx
Where do I start! In no particular order
1. Eat Sushi
2. Eat soft cheese
3. COFFEE!!!!
4. A nice glass of white wine with dinner
5. A nice thick (at least 4cm if not 6) grainfed, yearling, Angus tenderloin steak RARE!!! I've not been able to eat steak, because I can't bear ruining it by having it well done!
6. :tmi: being able to wipe my bum without having to hold my breath and become a contortionist :o
7. Bending down without getting out of breath
8. Being able to see my nether regions again!
9. Last but DEFINITELY not the least NO MORE MORNING/ALL DAY SICKNESS!!!!!!!!!!! :leap: :leap: :leap:
sleeping on my belly was the best feeling ever after my DS was born!!! It was great. Being able to eat what ever i wanted and have a drink (after breastfeeding is done for the night;) )
cracking my back! OMG the last few days, i've wanted to lean forward and allow my lower back to "crack" but i cant get forward enough to do it! even after a back rub from DH it hasnt helped. i did that after DJ and my back felt soooo good.
...and those Jimmys i have in the fridge are looking really, really, really good. and the last few nights - with it being so cold - balies mmmm....
Last night I saw them using champagne on Masterchef and I swear I could have polished a whole bottle off by myself if i had the chance.
I gave in this morning and treated myself to a real coffee - one can't hurt. I don't do it very often. And I still want my ham sandwich.
You know what's good now? Crossing my legs. Lol. Ahhh the simple things!
