My belly button that is LOL :p.
My belly is growing beautifully and its nice and big and round now. I had thought that my belly button would gradually grow out too but it stays stubbornly inside like a bit huge cavity in my belly.
Do some people have tight belly buttons that never pop out or should I just be patient as I head in the 30 weeks zone?
Mine never did in either pregnancies. I think my belly button is too deep...lol! One of my friends had it pop out the 1st pregnany but not in the 2nd- so i don't get the whole belly button popping thing.
First pregnancy mine half popped out, second and third it popped all the way out. this time, its only half popped out again.
Didn't pop out for any of my three pregnancies.
Mine didn't pop with my first pg, it did kind of flatten out by the end though, lol! But with my second it did, mind you he was a big bub.
Mine never popped out. It is very deep and very tight and kind of stretched and became shallower, but never did pop out. I really don't think the extra few weeks of pregnancy that I was supposed to have would have made a difference, either!

Mine went flat but never really popped out.
I'm 37 weeks and belly button is flat and tight, but not yet popped out. I'll let you know what happens in the next few weeks! Sometimes it feels very sensitive and tight, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't pop out at all, because it still feels like it's got some skin to give.
Mine looks like its about to pop!
Does anyone elses REALLY hurt?

Mine never popped out. As a PP said it got tighter and shallower but never popped
Mine did pop out. And now i am hoping it pops back in again!
Mine went flat as a pancake, and it is already dissappearing quickly, so will be left with a pancake again :rofl: I was sooo looking forward to it popping :lol:
I had an innie all the way through with DD and a 'flattie' with DS - he was big though.
Mine didn't change at all with my first 2 full term pregnancies but it got scarily close with DS2. He was huge though, 10lb.

Mine never popped out either... I was waiting for it to happen, kind of like when you cook a turkey to show it is done... but It never happened... But mine is very deep in the first place too...

Mine was always very deep, it went flat but didn't pop...and it's even deeper now :lol:

Mine has never popped either. I wonder if it's partly your body, and partly how the baby is sitting....? Maybe if baby is curled up with his back to your front, it pushes the front of your belly out a little farther? I don't know, just a thought.

It seems a majority of us haven't popped, I'm surprised as I'd assumed most bb's pop. Mine is so deep like something is pulling pr anchoring it in. Will see how the next 10weeks or so goes.

Mine didn't pop out with either of my pregnancies. I always thought it would since it's not that deep to begin with. It went flat with my second though.
Now it's like saggyish and an unside down smile. Lol. :p
I had a 4lber and a 10lber and neither of mine popped....
No pop here either with a 10lber, I was waiting but it never happened!
Mine didn't even go flat, LOL. Both pregnancies my belly button just looked normal.
Mine never popped with either 1 or 2 and this one probably wont either. Which I am glad as I don't like.
My bub used to put her foot in my belly button from the inside!

With my first I had a REALLY deep belly button... like really deep... the dude who pierced my belly said I had the weirdest belly button he'd ever seen *blushes* lol So it never even got close to popping! But then also never went back to being as deep.
With DS2 I thought it was going to pop as it started heading towards being slightly flatter at about 28ish weeks from memory... I went 5 days early, and it didn't really move from 28 weeks lol. It wasn't completely flat, but wasn't far off! :P

All you non-bellybutton poppers have just made my day :lol: I've been a bit obsessed about my belly button popping out almost since I found out I was pregnant. I've just assumed that most of them popped, and I was really dreading the day mine did. I have real issues with my belly button being touched. It makes me queezy just thinking about it, and I actually get Nauseous if someone does touch it :sick: So the thought of it popping and my clothes rubbing on it all the time was almost more then I could handle :o
I got to looking at mine last night and had a theory as to why mine hasn't popped. At the top it kinda looks like it should pop, but the bottom is still tightly tucked in nice and deep (phew). I have a lap keyhole scar at the bottom though (I won't even start on how much it freaked me out when they said they'd go in through my belly button :o ) and the scar kinda looks like it's anchoring my belly button in place....if that makes sense, so was thinking maybe that was the reason it hadn't popped, and was for the first time ever grateful about my belly button scar :lol:
With all of mine Dusty, it stayed an innie. Never popped out. Like a deep crater. lol.
No poppage here. I was happy though. I love big bellies, but for some reason the belly button poppage freaks me out. It's just such a sensitive area, to be exposed like that....
But that's just me ;)

I'm like lolli, the look of a belly button popped out freaks me out. I find it really gross.
I fiddled around with mine and then it popped out.
I don';t know about you, but belly buttons make me squeamish, so having it pop out was a disaster. Made me shudder all the time.
Misty - I am so glad my BB never popped out, I cant stand anything near it either. lol
Never had it pop out,,,,it got close this time and i thought it was going to( I was excited that something different was about to happen)..but nope!!!
Its great to see how well you are going..and how much pleasure you are getting out of all the things that happen...make the most of it, as I am sure you are..you start to forgot so quickly how things felt when baby arrives.
