How do you make your porridge?
DH bought rolled oats the other day & I would love some porridge, but I'm a tad picky.
I've only ever eaten Grandma's porridge. She made it in the microwave with milk, thats all I know. We lost her 8 years ago, so I can't ask her, but I've never, ever liked it any other way!
I do have a feeling she put brown sugar in it, but I was under 10 I think, the last time I saw her make it, so I have no idea!

600ml boiling water
300ml full fat uht milk
150g porridge oats
2 bananas
4 tablespoons muscovado sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Pour water and milkinto slow cooker pot then stir in oats.
Cover and cook on low for 1 hr for runny porridge or 2 for thick.
Spoon into bowlsslice bannana and divide among bowls. Mix together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over top.
