So .....I'm Late ...

By 2 days today. Never been late, always a 28 day cycle and this is kinda annoying.

I'm not stressed or anything like that TBH - I've been more relaxed this month than any other!

I also feel like AF is coming - getting cramps throughout the day & night. My lower back has been aching too :rolleyes: I've also had a fair bit of mucus lots more than normal 2 day before AF was due til today - it started off being white, but yesterday was like snot (sorry) a bit constipated

About a week ago my boobs were sore (not the nipples tho) and DP had to massage them. Feeling bloated quite badly (more than AF time) peeing alot, a little moody & emotional

Been feeling like I'm starving when I've eaten! I feel like eating but dont know what! :lol: at the moment I feel like eating turkey with jarlsburg cheese on white bread.

Preggo tests NEGATIVE :rolleyes:

I just wish either AF would show up or a BFP :rolleyes:

I tried new OPK's this month, but it picked up faint lines. I always O on CD12 but we covered ourselves anyway!

If I dont have AF or a BFP by next weekend, I'll go for a blood test.

This is annoying. Why are our bodies so confusing?!?!?! Oh well - hopefully we get a BFP - But im not counting on it. I think my body is just teasing me :shakehead:

It SOUNDS like you should expect a BFP from this. Those that don't get a prior positive still have a 10-15% chance for a BFN for a whole week after AF was due even tho they are in deed pregnant. I think many of them just don't have kidneys that filter the hCG very well when the levels are still low. I'm at... 17DPO and still a BFN this morning. Same last time too - didn't have a positive HPT until around 3-4 weeks late!!! Hope the BT shows you that you are UTD!

Fingers crossed this results in a BFP for you hun. With my last pregnancy mine was showing -ive when I was in fact 5 weeks pregnant. I know mine ended badly, but this has nothing to do with why it did not show at 5 weeks pregnant. At 9 weeks pregnant I had a Blood Test and my HCG levels were through the roof, so I assume they were at 5 weeks too but for some unknown reason just decided not to appear as a BFP. I was told that some women a re just like this. Also in saying that, there is a chance you are just having a longer than usual cycle, as some preg symptoms are the same as AF symptoms. I am 13 weeks pregnant, and still have no symptoms so who knows how it all works, but Best of Luck xx

Re: Symptoms - thats why Im not too worried if AF shows, I know some symptoms are the same as AF, I didnt have any symptoms til I was 8wks with DD (when I found out) other than a missed period.

I've read many stories that women didnt have a bfp until weeks later - that would annoy me! lol I probably wont wait that long tho - i'll just have a bt done next weekend and see what that says.

obviously we're hoping for a BFP - but if not, it will be off to the FS after the next period!

Did I mention the tiredness? Man, last night I was STRUGGLING at 930 to stay awake! I dont normally go to bed until midnight!

I really am getting annoyed with peeing ALL the time! And poor dp has to put up with my gas :rofl: its so manly i break out in laughing fits!

I'm at the end of my tww, and had a positive hpt the other day. Not getting excited though, trying to hold off until the end of next week and retest if AF hasn't arrived!

Im 3 days late today, with symptoms of pregnancy. Done another test this morning SURPRISE BFN!:rolleyes: Got annoyed and told DP Im gonna go to the Dr. I didnt feel preggers (even though I was hoping so) done a test at the Dr's to reveal yet another BFN **SURPRISE**

The Dr suspects its a cyst :rolleyes: he asked me to come back Tuesday for another test just to make sure, and he will write me a referral to see another gyno :rolleyes:

Thanks TS - the symptoms of an ovarian cyst are also similar to pregnancy. I had a feeling also, that I didn't O this month. I also had a feeling the other day after googling late periods that it was a cyst (I have polycystic ovaries but not the syndrome) but the previous gyno I seen said polycystic ovaries dont interfere with conceiving - well obviously it does when you dont O!!

AF hasnt arrived yet. I am now a week late. Done bt's and booked in for an u/s. Doesnt even feel like shrs coming! Seeing a gyno next week, still getting a few pains on my l
eft ovary. Dr seems to think its a cyst. I will keep u updated

Just a quick update - had the dildo cam :rofl: so NOT what i expected!! the lady made it a very comfortable experience, and I thanked her for it :) she was lovely.

I have a cyst on my left (hence the pain more so on the left!) which measured around an inch long, she says it can be normal, however I have fluid around it, so it may be leaking.

Now for the gyno appt next week, and we should hopefully have some more answers!

Im so OTT emotional today. I've been crying here in my living room for like almost 3 hrs. Im feeling depressed, angry, Im in a bit of pain, I'm stressed out, I know (hope) I'll be ok, but am just over it.

I just can't seem to compose myself. I usually am able to look at things from a different perspective, but this time, I think all this stress has built up to the point where I feel like I am going to explode - and I am ... with tears.

No need to reply - just gotta get out how I feel.

I woke up not long ago, feel so tired, still a bit emotional

DP has the ****s with me cos I didnt wanna go out tonight, and had a bit of a tantrum about going out cos I made HIM look like an idiot. I dont give a **** tbh, I am upset and I dont WANT to be around ppl. Especially ppl I CANT STAND. I would have just been a crying emotional woman - so whats the bloody point of going out. He doesnt understand how I feel. He couldve gone by himself, it would not hafe bothered me at all.

Picked up my results today, Dr says the u/s is better than the last one - not as many cysts.

BT's are ALL PERFECT. Apparently I did O, not too sure WHY the opk didnt pick it up? I tested for 10 days. Maybe I should have tested longer?

I asked the Dr about Celiac Disease & infertility - he seems to think there is no link between them. After seeing a news program the other night about it, when the gyno does BT's I want him to check for it!

Dr said it may be a possibility I might have a hostile environment? (Im just too tough;) )

I just dont understand - WHY hasnt AF come yet? WHY has it been OVER a year and NOTHING, not even a chemical!??!

Still no AF - Could AF arrive once the cyst goes? Is there anything that can be prescribed to make it shrink like metformin??

Glad to hear there arent as many cysts this time, I hope you gets some answers soon so you can get your well overdue BFP.

TTC is HARD, especially when it seems so easy for everyone else but feels impossible for you. I totally understand your frustrations and please vent all you need to. We are all here to support you.

AF arrived for me today, early considering I'm taking vitex in the herbal mixture.
I've now got to book in for a HyCoSy this week, not looking forward to it. I thought that my body would get a bfp to avoid it.
