*TMI* what do you think this is?

So apologies in advance for the TMI...

Last night when I went to the loo there was brownish blood in my undies. When I wiped there was brownish mucus with streaks of pink. I popped a liner in and overnight there was no more. Today again I've used a liner and have just had a few spots of brown blood I guess you would call it. Along with brown streaked mucus when I wipe.

Yesterday I was 12DPO and at this stage in my cycle with DS I experienced an implantation bleed, which was very much like what I'm experiencing now.
I am due AF Monday but did an ebay cheapie HPT today as well as a First Response but they both came up negative!

I have no symptoms at the moment besides extreme tiredness, but being the mother of a busy toddler I'm always tired :lol: Could I still be pregnant or is something else going on?

Ooooh it sounds to me like u cld be pg! :) U wont get a + hpt until ur hcg levels are high enough.. they start going up once implantation has occurred.. so maybe try a FR hpt tomoro morning with FMU?
Does af normally come right on time?? Is it usually bright red to start with and not this brown stuff?

Yep sounds promising to me! With my one and only BFP I had the same thing on the Friday and thought AF was starting as I had done a test at 11DPO and it was neg then the next day BFP! Test tomorrow!!

Thanks for your replies girls! AF is always bright red and lots of it, so nothing like this.

I'll test again tomorrow I guess, hopefully it's a BFP!

Well keep everything crossed for me girls! I think I'll try and hold out til Monday, says the one who did FOUR tests today lol!

Since I started this thread I've had more brownish mucus when I wipe but nothing on the liner. Seems soooo much like implantation but I just don't want to get my hopes up especially seeing there are no other symptoms!

Def sounds like an implantation bleed but it could take a few days for your BFP to show up. I'll be stalking too.

Aw thank you all so much for thinking of me. Sadly after nothing else overnight when I went to the loo this morning I passed lots of bright red blood and it hasn't stopped :crying: And such bad cramps it hurts to stand up.

I am really disappointed. Even though I had no other symptoms it just seemed so much like an implantation bleed and I did get quite excited last night!

So, I am pretty confused. I wasn't due til tomorrow. This has never happened to me before, do I count the first sign of brown mucus as cyce day 1, or todays true AF as cycle day 1?

Once again, thanking for being there for me. I feel bad for disappointing you all lol!

Thanks for the info in regards to cycle day 1 starting. I'd never had AF start like that!

You know it wasn't so long ago that I was moaning about AF not returning since Moo's birth, don't know how many times I cried to DH "We can't even TRY! I'm stuck in some kind of limbo!" LOL. So yeah, at least I'm in a position to TTC and who knows what next month will bring :D

Thanks for all the support and hugs. I was just telling DH how lucky I am to have an avenue to vent and get advice in these situations as we haven't told anyone IRL that we're trying for our 2nd :grouphug:

You're looking at the positive side hun, that's fantastic. Like you said, at least you are properly TTC and you know where you stand. Fingers crossed next month is for you!
