I Just got a job!!!! :)
I went for a job interview on Thursday and hadn't heard anything, so I called them today and asked to speak to the lady who interviewed me.. I was advised that she was on her day off, so I explained who I was and why I was calling and I was told: "Yes we going to offer you the position, Kris is going to call you tomorrow"
I am excited but I haven't been in paid employment since 2008 :o (Since before I was pregnant) so it's a bit scary... I am used to only doing TAFE 3 days a week, I have 1000 assessments due, and I guess I am a bit scared that I wont have as much freedom.. (I am a bit lazy)
BUT I am excited that after many applications and not even getting to interview stage, I went for my first interview in this industry (Aged Care) and got the job

Congratulations!!! When do you start?
-
Not sure, I have to wait for the RN to call me tomorrow, she was the one who interviewed me.. I just heard the news from admin :) (I hope the RN didn't change her mind lol)

YAY!!!!!!!
When do you start shopping for new clothes/uniform? or do they provide all that? i found that shopping for new clothes for a new job the most exciting LOL

Beata yes I am still doing TAFE.. Thats why I am a bit stressed, that I will be able to juggle work, assessments, placement etc.. I know people do, but I have just had the luxury of not working full time for so long.. I am hoping I can handle it! I think it may be a good distraction coming up to the babies b'day and anniversary though.. I will just be letting them know 21st Nov and 3rd Dec ARE DAYS OFF!!!
-
Hun, I KNOW you can do it! It's probably going to feel like a lot in the beginning but I'm sure you'll adjust and all will be good. Just remember to breathe! lol. Will be thinking of you when your beautiful boys' birthdays arrive, big hugs hun and remember we are all here for you.

Congratulations.
Doing TAFE, full-time work and motherhood is definitely possible. It gets busy but I wouldn't change it for the world!
