Has anyone actually FOUND The Perfect Name (boy or girl).
I'd love to hear your Perfect Names :D
Nathan, Lucy and Milly....they are the most perfect names in my opinion :D
party of five - I agree Milly is a perfect name. I love it :)
My perfect names are K aili and T heo :) :) hehehe
Definately my kids names (Lily Kate and Liam Jeffery) but unfortunately for this bub, I am still totally 'meh' about the names we have except for one and DH won't have it :(
I have no idea about the perfect name! DS is Jensen Andrew, but for this bub - we're totally clueless. At the beginning, we had a girls name picked out, and now, even that is out the window.
I have a perfect girls name! Don't know what I'm going to do if this bub is a boy - used my most perfect boy name already lol.
None of my names were perfect until I held them in my arms and went "yes that's it!"
So yes mine are My perfect names and they are
Oscar Parker
Benjamin John (Benny Boy!)
Tess Alice (Tessy, Tessa, Tessica  )..this was the hardest as I loved Alice, DH didn't know we were having a girl and I did and said he couldn't get the Living Next Door To Alice song (the night club version) out of his head, so Tess she is. And yep it's perfect :)
Hehe Heather at your DH and the song!! I love the song and I love the name but I know that my family would have sang the song!!!
Yup -
Aricyn, Mehkelti and Eden.
And we have a name for the girl still slow cooking - but I'm not sharing that on here yet :D
My perfect name is DD - Tara Rose - which I have loved for years and years and years...
This time around though who knows. I keep tossing around girls names but have no idea on boys names, if they are both boys I think they will be called Twin A & Twin B for a long time :)
DD has the most beautiful name I think - Evie Jean. DH came up with the Evie and Jean is my nana's name.
B r i t t n e y K a t e
And
A r c h i e E d w a r d
Perfect!
my daughters was the most perfect name and still is Katy Rose.......I chose it when I was in highschool
my boys were harder I dont know why robert was always going to be a middle name, I had no relaives with this name it just stuck whenever I thought boys name Jake, treyy the list went on robert was the middle name, and low and behold I met and married a man whose dad's name is robert and whose middle name is robert so I guess you could say Robert was a my perfect choice
sos I have Jack Robert and Luke Archer Archer I have loved for years as well and FIL middle name is archerbald so it fits as well
I don't feel like either of sons got a 'perfect' name. I just couldn't find a name that I felt had the perfect balance of funky, unique, not-too-wacky, good nick-name...
For a girl I would have used Ramona and I think it's a perfect name.
My DS already has the Perfect boys name, (Quinn) so if this baby is a boy it will have to have the 2nd most perfect boys name, I just need to find it. Then I'll feel guilty that possible DS #2 has the 2nd most perfect name. I am liking all of these lovely perfect names though - keep 'em coming.
meow: I know what you mean with the perfect balance of funky unique not too whacky...they are pretty much my criteria, has to be easy to say and spell and not too crazy but not too common, all the names I liked before DS was born have become a lot more common since 4 years ago.
Rach75 I love that you always wanted Robert then your DH had all of the robert connections, VERY cool!
We had lots of nice names on our list for DS but it wasn't until we saw 'Archie George' that we both knew it was the perfect name - we had a lightbulb moment of "yep, that's it!"
I do worry that finding another perfect name for a second DS is going to be a challenge.
My perfect name for a girl is/was Audrey but I don't think it goes well with Archie, so I'll have to find another.
Good luck with your search. I hope you have that lightbulb moment.
Also - our 'almost perfect' name choice for DS was Angus, which I love, but it got trumped by Archie.
Sam for a boy, chose it when I was 9 !
We had no 'perfect' name til after DD was born.
My perfect names are Jazmyne, Brianna, Jesse & Summer.
They all just felt right at the time :) Love Kobi too, really hoped DD3 was a boy so I could use it
Peter George, and Isla-Mae.
When we were trying for DD one day DH just looked at me, said ''your pregnant'' i couldnt even do a test casue it was to early to pick up but DH just knew....after we did the test she said ''its a girl and her name is grace'' i have no idea where it came from but he just said he knew....Grace suits her SO perfectly, i couldnt imagine her with another name and even though i did look at other names none felt right.
With this one, DH didnt belive i was pregnant tillid done two tests, and he has no idea about the sex and we are having real trouble with names. Its like DD came with a name and this one is going to be really hard!! its wierd.
So Grace is my perfect name for DD.
I think personally that there are lots of perfect names out there, but the one that is perfect for your child is always individual.
I had never even thought of names before we fell pregnant (never planned my perfect wedding in my head years beforehand either). Neither of our kids names were my first choice. DH picked Darcy's name, and TBH I hated it, but now down the track it is the most perfect name for her.
Darcy picked Nate's name out of a selection of three. We found boys names so hard and were a bit 'meh' with all of them, so we gave her a list and consistently over a few weeks she chose Nate. So that's what he was. We did have backups but my Godfather was dying a week before he was born, so we wanted him to know that he was a boy and what his name was. When we said his name, actually named him to someone else, that was it, it was perfect.
i have been trying to think of names for years!
i talk to dh about names, as im worried i'll never find one!
we have 2 that we agree on, and one middle name... we'll see if they get used!!
When DS was born, DP and I both knew that he was going to be called Quinn, we didn't discuss it for about 12 hours but both had the same opinion. This time we cannot agree at all on names for boy or girl. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens when this one is born - not long to go now so the issue will have to be solved one way or another. I love all of the perfect names you have for your children.
I am awaiting the lightbulb!!!
Still nothing...
My favorite name was always Charlotte Claire but 2 cousins on the same side of the family have used Charlotte (one is about 4 years old and one approx 9mths) so BOO to them!!! I have wanted that name since high school but not now...
