I just read on this blog about a different kind of photo challenge some people are doing.. taking a photo every half an hour for a day from waking to sleeping. I think it'd be interesting to document a whole day like that. It'd also be good to prove to some people how much I actually do lol!
If I did that Bec, there'd be too many pics of my computer ;)

I was reading today on the discussion board of 365 Project re: Watermarks. There were two ladies who had their photos 'stolen' from another parenting forum and used by another as their own.
I was thinking about Watermarking, but that would add another step in the process - thinking of a photo, taking it, editing etc..
ZF, hope you can get your camera/battery fixed ASAP.

I'm thinking of watermarking too...DH is always AT ME about being on here and putting pics up around the place...I do think he has a point.....
CBG - I was thinking of doing a moon shot tonight too.....or a sunset.
Just uploaded todays photo - we went to the mirazozo exhibition and I had such a tough time choosing which pic to upload.... think I might have to put the rest on fb or flikr. If you get a chance to go to the exhibit, do. We took DD and she loved it too :)
ZF, like your idea. Maybe we could take it in turns to pick the word of the week? Hope you can fix your camera, that sucks :(
ETA - yeah, good point about the watermarking, I think it would be worth the effort... do you know how easy it is to do it though? I'm not too great with editing packages yet!

CBG - I thought about watermarking but decided against it, too much work.
I was thinking it doesn't even have to be for the whole week, just pick a word and somewhere along the line during that week you try and make something that fits IYKWIM... something to work towards?
I can pick a word, how bout we wait and start it next monday, will think of a word b/w now and then?

Is anyone's username on 365 "Samsun"? I'm trying to work out who is who and someone with that name is now following me...kind of weird cause I don't think it's anyone here :confused: and I'm not sure I want to be followed by random strangers... :D
It's another overcast night here, I want some moon action :protest::
If I don't get one between now and the full moon I'll add my one from the 15th on the day of the full moon.
Sunsets around here have been boring lately, I got some good ones in December.
I haven't done any Watermarking on photos lately. In picasa there is the option to do so.:
Bec, I love the collage option in Picasa. So easy.
I especially like making one for the day if I've taken lots of photos and they don't make it to the 365Project. Tho, I've found sometimes it'll crop a photo.
About to upload my photo for the day... a blink and you'll miss it flower. Comes out during the night and by morning it is almost died.

Ok ladies.. as i don't want any gaps i am picking out photos i have taken that are some of my faves, still with the same camera and well before i was trying to concentrate on taking them properly so hopefully they will still be ok.
Got some gorgeous old sunset/sunrise pics from the old house (damn i miss that place photography wise), so hope you don't mind checking them out til the camera is fixed.

no, I don't know them. I follow a lot of people I don't know, just because I like their photos and want to see more. I only know a few of my followers and somehow there are over 50 of them now :o:
ZF - if I had a watermark it'd just be my name. No 'photography' after it like a lot of people seem to do whether they are professional photographers or not.
Opened a copyright thread, maybe someone with a little more photographic / technological background can give us some ideas of what is or is not accepted.

Hi ladies, just crashing your thread to say thank you... I saw this pop up on the new threads on one of my rare visits and I am LOVING it. It is wonderful finding something beautiful and joyful each day and helping me take my mind off lots of things at the moment and helping me get back in touch with myself. I am a self proclaimed crap photographer and I am over the moon if I actually get one in focus but I love looking at all the gorgeous photos there are. So big Thank you!

I am so glad this thread is going well, once we add in maybe a theme and some expert hints n tips (as were all so damn good and featuring on the popular page :p )... we can concur the 365 and blogging worlds.
Everyone is putting up some great pics! ZF, the one word theme sounds great! I hope you get your camera fixed soon. With the watermark, I've been thinking about that too but am a bit lazy as it just means more editing. If I ever get organised with it, it'll probably say my full name.
I got yesterdays photo in early. DS got into the cupboard and pulled out all the leftover Christmas crackers. His face when he was popping them was funny! So got a photo of that. Then shortly after, when he went all quiet, I discovered him and his sister painting their faces with sudocreme! I could have used that photo instead! I've put that one on FB.
Eluned hun that picture is gold.. i love it.. his little eyes.. :rofl:
