Our family of three toilet goers uses a roll every couple of days.
I just let DS scrunch, he won't let me near the toilet when he is going so I don't really have any say.
In the early days he used to keep pulling on the roll but I showed him how to tear it off and he gets a reasonable amount most of the time now - like an arms length. He went through a patch of unwinding nearly the whole roll every time and leaving it all over the floor, but after repeatedly asking I blasted him about it and threatened nappies and he has been good ever since.
Jack has only really started usoing paper in the last few months prior tothat he used baby wipes, I haven;'t seen a huge increase int he amount we go thru, he is actually really good for a little one in how much he uses, I didn't teach him to use it he just stopped asking me to wipe his bum LOL
I buy a twelve roll pack from Aldi everyweek and its very rare that come shopping day we have many rolls left!
I thought boys werent supposed to use as much toilet paper but not in this house :o
With 6 of us we go through about a roll a day.. The boys don't tend to use the paper unless they do number 2's :)
DD does tend to roll it and roll it so it ends up on the floor *sigh* I just use that paper to clean the toilet seat so it doesn't go to waste
All the boys used to do what DD does but they are sensible now.
We go through a roll every day or 2 and we have 5 toilet users!
We go through a roll every 2 days, it used to be more when DD1 was just starting out going to the toilet though.
we buy the kids cheap stuff and save the good stuff for the adults. The kids go through it like it is out of fashion (that's if they are not just throwing a roll down the loo just for fun). Probably about a roll every 1.5days.
I think the men of this household must have shinny bums...or they eat toilet paper
the boys toilet/public uses a roll a day...my toilet aka the clean toilet uses one every few days
I tried to teach DS to fold but Im sure he just reams off a few metres and hopes for the best
We go through a roll every day or 2, but my girls (DD1 especially) are shocking for NOT using TP!
I think I've finally gotten through to them both, but they still forget sometimes... & don't get me started on flushing!!
We have that problem here... seriously it takes 2 secons to wipe so DO IT lol:
We have two toilets...theirs and mine :p
Theirs almost one a day :o mine every two or three days...depends on how much my TT dd uses it and how often the kids sneak in there when I am not looking :lol:
On a weekend 1.5 rolls.
During the week we go through 1 every 2-3 days prob.
I have sorbent at the moment.
Quilton rolls used to last us almost a week. I love them!
(& DS is toilet trained but i still have to wipe his bum!)
We can go through a roll or two a day... or more.
We have three toilets, five users. Our ensuite which gets changed every few days, maybe even every two weeks or so. But it's just me & DH usually that use it.
The kids bathroom upstairs I honestly don't know, maybe a roll a week, they don't use it much either.
But our downstairs toilet gets a lot of use & gets changed twice a day, some days. I have NO idea how we are going through so much.
I remember when I was a kid, my step-mother tried rationing the toilet paper. I was allowed two squares for a wee, four for a poo. I have thought about trying similar with my kids..but they aren't scared of me, like I was of SM. I don't think it would work.

I remember when we were kids dad sat us down and told us we only needed four squares of toilet paper for each wipe. XD
one roll can last from half a day to 3 days, depending on if the boys feel they are able to wipe ther own bums, oh and if we get visitors, who seem to eat it...
The big kid here uses more than anyone else!
I think my DH and DS roll it up to their armpits :o There always seems to be half a roll missing after they go. For DS we have put wipes in the toilet though, despite using half a roll of loo paper it just wasn't doing the job! He likes to be independant and the wipes are doing a much better job. So now I am toilet paper monitor as well as wipes monitor. I feel like I am back in primary school :rofl:
Whne DH is home the loo paper just goes..I hate to think what it costs them at his workplace..I buy in bulk!!! people are often found looking in amazement if reqired to open our linen cupboard :O but am now thinking our consumption is not that excessive approx a roll a day for 4-5 people. Me a folder, DH a scruncher, and I suspect the kids scrunch as well (not been trained by my father!!!)
