Just curious about this subject, was talking with a girl at work the other day who said she only showers in the morning. I dont know if its just me but the thought of hopping into bed without having a shower is just gross :rolleyes:

Nope, I shower in the morning. Sometimes its a struggle to even do that, depends on if I've turned the snooze on or not :redface:
Completely serious and hopefully non offensive question - if you've showered before going to bed, wouldn't you still be clean in the morning?
Haha no offence taken at all. Yes I am still clean in the morning (if there has been any doing of the deed then I get up for a shower afterwards). The shower in the morning is more of a wake me up one. The one at night is to get me clean from the day before going to sleep.
Not unless I have done an extra sweaty workout or been swimming. Especially seeing that we have been in drought for the last 12 years I would rarely, if ever, shower more than once a day. It isn't good for your skin either as it washes away all the natural oils etc so I find my skin goes all dry and scaly if I wash too much.

shower at night....unless some kind of activity taken between then and the morning ;) otherwise what a waste of water :)
I usually shower at night but atm Im having both. Morning sickness makes it hard to get out of the shower!! lol
it depends on if i can be bothered.....my morniung shwoer is to wake me up and my night shower helps me sleep
I shower twice a day too. I feel grotty if i dont wash at the end of the day. I cant sleep unless I've washed. Even if i havent done much, i need to wash deodorant and other chemicals off my skin.
I also shower in the morning It's interesting how much body fluid is released in the night. I feel ikky if i dont wash twice a day.
I shower at night or after exercise- I can see why people would shower twice a day, but I couldn't justify the water use!
I mosly only shower at night - couldn't imagine not showering at night and going to bed 'unwashed'. Occasionally shower in the morning too.
Before DS I used to shower morning and night. Now I'm not sure if I shower at all... maybe a week ago I had a shower :think: LOL naaaa just kidding :rofl: I do shower at some stage during the day but def not morning and night like I used to, it just depends on when I get time these days! When I change the sheets on the bed I always wash my hair that day too so I'm all clean when I go to sleep that night and I always seem to have the best sleeps!...again before DS was born, now I just sleep in 2-4 hours stretches :rolleyes:
Night time as I feel icky going to bed without it and morning to freshen up and wake up. I don't feel right without both

I shower when I can, but generally only once a day. I can't justify the water use and it's not real great for your skin to strip it twice a day.

before anyone shoots me don we have been extremely lucky to have never been on water restriction where we live
I have always worked with animals so for me I always shower at night. The only time I ever have a shower in the morning is to wash my hair. I only wash it twice a week or it dries out to much, I have very thick long hair that takes hours to dry and I don't like blowdrying it much and wont go to bed with wet hair. I also shower in the morning if I am going out somewhere (not the shops) during the day, but it always just a quick wash.
I'm a morning showerer. In summer when it's hot I shower twice a day. I can't leave the house without showering.
Depends these days. When I can fit it in etc. I prefer to shower before going out, so if I know I am heading out after lunch, I will wait till then to shower. Will often just do a quick sink wash with a face washer if I feel the need for a second wash or don't have time for a full shower of a morning (tank water here, so need to be careful with what we use)
When working I had to have to shower of a morning, I just need it, I can get quite sweaty overnight and being sweaty I need to put on fresh deodorant onto clean skin, or I will stink before lunch.
DH is a shower at night person and when we got together he insisted that I did as well. Funnily enough I started to get many bouts of thrush.
I shower at night so it's not interrupted by any small children. I love my "me" time every night, my time to chill out!!
When I lived in qld I would have 2 a day during the really hot summer cos you are so sweaty by the end of the day, and with warm temps overnight, you sweat alot too. Don't get that here in tassie though.
I only shower twice a day in summer time and when AF is here. Otherwise its a morning shower but most recently whenever i get the time.
I was having 4-5 showers a day at the end of my pregnancy, the hot water on my back was all that eased my back pain. And when i wasnt in the shower i was in the bath. We got a water bill of $150 from the owners LOL they wanted to know why we used so much.
I'm a twice a day person too. I can't go to bed without a shower, and I feel like I need one in the morning to freshen up before getting dressed. But it's pretty hot in QLD. In winter I don't always have 2 a day.
Twice a day here too, think it's a habit that has stayed on after living in hot sweaty Qld for many many years. But I walk every morning and work up a sweat, and at the end of the day, well, it's the end of the day and couldn't go to bed without a shower or I wouldn't feel clean. Not implying anyone who doesn't is dirty though!
just at night after kids are in bed...I have an audience when I do everything else so its nice to do something all by my self :lol:
Morning and night. Night time to wash off the day, makeup and deodorant. Especially with DD snuggled up to my bare chest all night, I don't want her to get a face full of deo. Morning because I like to start the day fresh. I'm sure I must sweat overnight and so I'd be smelly if I didn't have a morning shower!
Ok, so if you don't shower in the morning... don't your lady bits get smelly by the end of the day?? Just askin'...
If I don't have a shower in the morning, I still give myself a wipe over, espcially my lady bits.:

I make sure I use moisturiser etc so my skin doesnt dry out. Ive always showered twice a day since I was about 12 so it just seems normaly to me. I can totally understand not showing in the morning if you dont need it to wake up (I most certainly do hahaha!). But the thought of hoping into bed at night time without a shower makes me shudder.

Im going to have to get used to one shower a day in a few weeks when im backpacking and staying in hostels :o
Morning and night and depending on my day at work when I get home from work. Oh yeh and sometimes as foreplay before DTD :rofl:
Morning only most of the time. I shower at night if I've been exercising or it's been a humid day - or if I feel gross from hanging out with DD ie wearing her food, dirt from the yard, etc!
I must say I'm becoming quite fond of an evening shower though. It just feels so nice to go to bed at night after a shower!
I shower at night. Can't stand the thought if hoping into bed dirty lol.
I wake up at 6am to go to work so don't have time to shower coz I value my sleep more lol
