I've heard cooked fish or vegetable sushi, made fresh, is ok...have other eaten it?
....just wondering as, boy do I miss sushi...then i read in 'what to expect' that it's ok, if you have it say at a restaurant (rather than rolls that have been sitting around) and if its just vegetarian rolls, or cooked fish.... so i am about ready to go there! just wondered if others have had similar advice?

Preggoeggo: I hear you I have been craving tuna and avocado sushi from sushi train ever since I found out I was preg. I ate some on the weekend at a party where the host made it the night before and put it directly into the fridge, and only the tuna ones. However I used to work at a shopping centre and used to see in the morning the sushi rice in giant white tubs and that was what they used all day to make the sushi. I don't think that would be ok because you don't know what temp it is or how long it's been sitting there. Because of that I won't eat sushi anywhere unless someone or I make it. I don't think it's worth it. I think it like this, if something happened, and id just eaten sushi id forever think, what if me eating sushi did this. It's prob alright to eat, but for me, I couldn't risk it. But no judgement if you want to or others want to ;) at the End of the day people do what they like and thats the way it should be.
Ps I happily eat subway still but last preg when I was diagnosed with GD the dietician at the hospital said that it was ok for me to eat subway ybecause it was the perfect size to give me a good reading :)
